Daily cleaning after use

• Boil approx. 300 ml of water in a small saucepan.
• Add 1 teaspoon of powder.
• Immerse the cup and leave it in the boiling solution for a few minutes.

Important: Make sure that the water does not boil away completely – direct contact between a dry, hot saucepan and the cup can permanently damage the silicone.

Deep cleaning + stain removal

• Boil approx. 300 ml of water, remove the saucepan from the heat.
• Add 1 tablespoon of powder.
• Place the cup in the solution for several hours or overnight to remove discolouration/older stains.

Store in a dry place out of reach of children.

The balm bar also acts as an effective and gentle moisturizer for the skin. Use the bar on damp skin in or after the bath, where the deep-acting oils will penetrate and leave the skin soft and thoroughly moisturised.

How to use your Kystnær conditioner

• Moisten the bar and run it through wet hair to the tips
• Let it sit for a minute
• Wash the hair until all the conditioner has been rinsed out
• Rinse the bar clean and store it dry

The bar lasts longer if it is allowed to dry between uses.

How to use the soap flakes
A foot bath with Kystnær’s soap flakes is the perfect self-indulgence after a long day:
 

• Preparation: Fill a tub with warm water and add approximately one tablespoon of soap flakes.

• Dissolving: Dissolve the flakes by hand or use a whisk if you want extra luxurious foam.

• Relaxation: Let your feet rest in the water for 10-15 minutes.

• Aftercare: Dry your feet thoroughly and finish with a good foot cream to seal in the moisture.

Tip: Store the jar in a dark place, as the soap flakes do not tolerate direct sunlight.

Vitamin E oil extracted from seeds and plants.

This e-vitamin oil contains 10 ml.

Vitamin E has a special ability to counteract the rancidity of the other oils with which it is mixed.

In this way, natural vitamin E oil can help to extend the life of your homemade skin care products.

Vitamin E oil protects and moisturizes the skin and can contribute to to protect the skin from damage from the sun's UV rays and pollution. It is therefore also used to reduce signs of aging.

It is therefore a 100% plastic-free and vegan alternative.

Natural and non-toxic colors have been used for the base of the toothbrush, which have been developed in collaboration with AURO.

The dental floss can easily be included in the compost and will form within 2 years.

Rinse fabric panty liners in cold water before washing them - possibly added a little salt.

You can also choose a cold rinse in the machine.

Then wash your fabric panty liners at 60-90 degrees in the washing machine.

Preferably avoid the tumble dryer, as it wears down the PUL layer a lot.

Organic toothpaste for children from Jack n' Jill

This toothpaste is fluoride-free and has a raspberry flavor.

The toothpaste is available in 6 varieties: Neutral, banana, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and blackcurrant.

The toothpaste is great for very young children who have to practice brushing their teeth and may not be able to spit the toothpaste out again.

The toothpaste contains Xylitol instead of fluoride. Xylitol can inhibit the growth of bacteria in the mouth.

In addition, the toothpaste has been added organic motherwort, which helps soothe the gums.

The toothpaste is colorless and does not foam. And it is sugar-free, SLS-free, gluten-free, preservative-free and the packaging is BPA-free.

This fluoride-free toothpaste from Jack n' Jill may supplemented with a toothpaste with fluoride once a day, which controls the brushing and trains your child to spit out.

The toothpaste can also be used at the beginning of brushing, when the child wants to - and then you can brush afterwards with a toothpaste with fluoride.

But the toothpaste can of course also be used if you just prefer to avoid fluoride.

Xylitol is a natural sweetener extracted from GMO-free corn. The sweetener does not have the properties of sugar, but sweetens mildly and well for the little ones.

How do you use a Safety Razor?
If you haven't tried a safety razor - or a DE scraper like this one, then you probably just have to get used to using it. And your skin probably needs to too.

But follow this procedure - and you're pretty much on your way:
 

• Moisten skin and beard/hair with warm water
• Use shaving foam or a shaving brush and lather it up well - possibly. with a brush
• Check your scraper and make sure the scraper head and handle are not loose. However, only tighten the screw if it is loose. Then you are sure that the blade is at the right angle
• Start your shave and hold the scraper at a 30 degree angle to the skin
• Let the scraper slide over the skin with light pressure
• Shave only in the direction of the hairs - not against the hairs
• Tighten the skin in places where it can be difficult to get a flat surface - e.g. on the neck

Can a Safety Razor also be used by women?
The short answer is: YES!

The Safety Razor also works well for shaving on the body.

Even though Mühle's leaflet says that it should only be used on the face. But Mühle's products are sold all over the world, so they have probably chosen to be extra careful with their recommendations for that reason. As long as you are careful with the shave, just as you would be if it were on the face, then you can easily use it on the body too.

Organic handmade soap bar

This variant with Birch & Juniper is a gentle and cleansing soap.

A nurturing soap, handmade from natural ingredients, which adds moisture to the skin and cares for it during hand washing. The soap has a creamy and dense foam.

Smells of natural juniper oil and birch leaves.

The oil from juniper has a cleansing, astringent and cell-regenerating effect.

Birch contains oils that are firming and anti-inflammatory.

The coconut oil is antibacterial and very moisturizing.

The rapeseed oil nourishes and moisturizes the skin. The organic cold-pressed rapeseed oil has a naturally high content of vitamin E, which has a softening and protective effect on the skin.

The soap is cold stirred - i.e. produced in a process called cold saponification - a method that people have used for thousands of years. Cold-stirred soap makes the soap soft, creamy and gentle on the skin.

How to use castor oil to promote hair growth:

Use the castor oil on your eyelashes in the evening, after you have cleansed your skin and applied your natural oil.

Refresher block for your vegan food cloths and wraps

Bevar det Vel has made these brilliant wax blocks so that you can refresh your wax canvases when they are getting worn out and the wax has eventually worn off/washed off.

The wax blocks are melted and applied to the cloth. It's both a nice DIY activity and very durable to give the old wraps new life instead of throwing them away.

With a round of new wax, they can last up to a whole year more if you continue to treat them gently.

How to refresh your food cloth

There are two ways you can give your food cloth a new go wax on; In the oven or with the iron.

Use disposable gloves, as the wax mixture can be very sticky.

Refreshing in the oven:

• Switch the oven to 120 degrees.
• Use a deep baking tray and place the food cloth on a piece of baking paper on the tray.
• Melt the block of wax over a water bath.
• Spread the mixture on the food cloth with an old brush or a silicone spatula. A relatively hard spatula works best.
• Now put the baking tray with the "waxed substance" in the oven. The wax will spread on the fabric if there are areas that have not been saturated.
• After just a few minutes, take the plate out and air the food cloth back and forth. The cooling is fast.
• NOTE! The wax is hot, so be careful and wear gloves.

Refresh with an iron:

• Cover your ironing board with an old piece of fabric (important!)
• Place the tea towel on a piece of parchment paper.
• Melt the wax over a water bath.
• Spread the mixture on the tea towel with an old brush or a block silicone spatula. A relatively hard spatula works best.
• Place the fabric with the wax mixture on the fabric-covered ironing board and also place a piece of baking paper on top of the cloth with the wax mixture.
• Iron on top of the baking paper and be careful not to get wax on the iron.
• When you are satisfied, lift the food cloth from the baking paper and fan it back and forth. The cooling is fast.
• NOTE! The wax is hot, so be careful and wear gloves.

Tips and good advice:

Use old and old utensils, as the wax mixture can be difficult to get off.

If wax gets on the baking sheet, put it back in the oven (without baking paper and fabric) and when the wax has melted again, remove it with a piece of paper towel. Then wash the plate with soap and water.

Isangs hair tonic is handcrafted in Copenhagen. It is a concentrated infusion of nourishing herbal extracts in raw apple cider vinegar.

It is a truly good organic hair care for dry hair that softens the hair, removes limescale from hard water, and leaves the hair glossy.

Can be used with every hair wash or as needed.

This variant is particularly softening and recommended for dry, frizzy, coloured, or curly hair. It has a natural scent of raw apple cider vinegar + Ylang Ylang scent. - A delicate, exotic, floral, sweet, and intoxicating scent.

The product contains natural "plant slime" from marshmallow root, burdock root, and comfrey.

These ingredients have fantastic softening properties and will also reduce frizz.

This hair tonic from Isangs also contains vegetable glycerin which attracts and binds moisture in the hair.

The product is a thin liquid.

Please note that sediment is normal in this hair tonic.

It is partly due to small pieces of herbs, primarily peppermint, which are finely crushed before the extract is taken from them. Furthermore, it is because the tonic is based on raw and unpasteurised apple cider vinegar, where the vinegar mother is still intact. The vinegar mother is filtered out, but it will continue to grow in the small bottles over time. The vinegar mother is a gelatinous substance primarily based on acetic acid bacteria. It can make apple cider vinegar cloudy.

Although the vinegar mother may not look very appealing, it contains large amounts of nutrient-rich ingredients. If you wish, you can save it and continue to work with it - similar to kombucha :-)
