Organic handmade soap bar

This variant with coffee and lemongrass is firming and exfoliating.

It is extra good for those who need a soap that really scrubs clean. You who spend a lot of time in the garden or have otherwise got your hands dirty.

A caring soap, handmade from natural ingredients, that adds moisture to the skin and cares for it during hand washing. The soap has a creamy and dense foam.

The coffee in the soap is "leftovers" from the organic and sustainable coffee roaster at Roskilde Fjord "Just Coffee".

Organic coffee has a high content of antioxidants. The coffee has an exfoliating effect and removes dead skin cells.

Natural lemongrass oil tightens and strengthens the skin tissue. The oil is also known for its anti-inflammation effect.

Coconut oil is antibacterial and very moisturizing.

Rapeseed oil nourishes and moisturizes the skin. The organic cold-pressed rapeseed oil has a naturally high content of vitamin E, which has a softening and protective effect on the skin.

The soap is cold stirred - that is, made in a process called cold saponification - a method that people have used for thousands of years. Cold-stirred soap makes the soap soft, creamy and gentle on the skin.

AsthmaAllergi Danmark recommends solid hand soaps without preservatives for the sample and sensitive skin.

Organic hair oil from Denmark Isangs

Are you looking for the best hair oil? Isangs nourishing oil for hair is handmade in Copenhagen and definitely worth a closer look.

Fragrant laundry without chemicals

But instead of falling back to traditional, perfumed washing and fabric softener full of additives and chemicals, you can achieve the same fragrant and fresh experience with these fantastic, mild oils.

How to use essential oil for your laundry

• If you use soapberry, you can add a few drops to the cotton bag with soapberry, which must be the washing machine.
• If you use detergent in the "drawer", you can dilute the oil (1:10) with water and add it to the room with fabric softener.
• If the clothes are to be tumble-dried, you can add a few drops to your wool balls. Let them absorb the oil for 10-15 min, for the best result, before putting them in the dryer.

Loofah sponge for body scrub from Organic Beauty Supply.

An effective way to remove dead skin cells from the body. By removing them, the new, healthy skin emerges and it can better absorb your skin care products such as oil or cream.

You can use the sponge on both dry and wet skin, however, if you use it on dry skin, you must do it immediately before a bath, so that the dead skin cells can be washed off the body.

Use

• Use it 1-2 times a week
• Scrub the skin with soft, circular movements
• Start from the bottom and move upwards and towards the heart
• Once you have used the loofah sponge, hang it to dry. It is a natural material and can therefore easily deteriorate if it is not allowed to dry completely after use.
• Wash the sponge approx. every 2-3 weeks to keep it free of bacteria. You can either pour boiling water over it and let it soak for 5 minutes or cook it in an aluminum-free pan.

The loofah sponge is compostable.

Natural deodorant from Ben&Anna Persian Lime

All the ingredients are certified natural and vegan and many of them organic where possible.

This variant is called Persian Lime and has a mild scent of citrus.
It keeps you dry and odor-free all day and the nourishing shea butter cares for your skin.

The cream deodorant contains 40 gr. This corresponds to approx. 2 months of daily use.

The deodorant's case is made from recyclable FSC-produced cardboard.

Traditional deodorants, which contain aluminum, will often block your pores in the skin, which is not very healthy. But these natural deodorants actually allow you to sweat. The cream deodorant instead absorbs your sweat and protects the skin against bacteria formation and odor, so you can safely rely on the effect.

How to use the natural deodorant from Ben&Anna

• It must be applied to clean and dry skin.

This vegan and organic lip balm, from the LEKKER Company in the Netherlands, is therefore really worth trying.

The patches are a plastic-free alternative, which therefore does not contain any harmful chemicals.

Rosin is used in the adhesive material itself, as this is a natural alternative that is extracted from resin from coniferous trees, and precisely has an adhesive effect.

The patches are perfect for sensitive skin as they do not irritate the skin. On the other hand, they allow the skin to breathe - even if you have a patch on.

The patches measure 8.5 cm. in length and 1.9 cm. in width.

These patches are plastic-free and compostable in nature. This means that they will form over time and thus enter nature's cycle again.

This does not mean that you should throw them into nature. It just means that nothing will happen to it if it happens:-)

Patch is a natural product. It therefore has a best before date, but can easily be used after this date, as the adhesiveness is not affected. The date indicates how long sterility can be guaranteed in the individual patch pack.

A woman uses about 35003700 disposable pads and tampons over a 10-year period. With cloth pads that have a lifespan of approximately 10 years, you only need 1520 pads in the same period - depending on use, washing, and flow.

You also avoid bleaches, adhesives, and perfumes, which many find cause itching, irritation, and rashes. Cloth pads offer a clean, soft, and durable solution for your period.

Sizes and Quantity

Cloth pads from Women's Place are available in four sizes:

• 20 cm (panty liner)
• 25 cm (day pad)
• 30 cm (night pad)
• 40 cm (postpartum or longer night pad)

Most women use about 36 panty liners, 912 day pads, and 36 night pads during a menstrual cycle, depending on how often they wash. If you're unsure, you can start with our starter pack, which includes three different sizes.

Material and Construction

• Outer layer: 30% cotton, 70% bamboo
• Inner layers: 100% organic GOTS-certified cotton
• 4 layers of absorbent cotton
• 1 layer PUL-coated fabric (waterproof)

This makes the pads just as leak-proof and absorbent as disposables, but without unnecessary chemicals.

Handling and Use

1. Orientation: The front side has two vertical seams; the back is marked with "Womens Place". Place the backside down against the underwear, fold the wings under and close with buttons at the back. The top cotton layers should face the skin, while the PUL-coated layer should face downwards.

2. After Use: Rinse off most of the blood with cold water in the shower if possiblethat preserves the pads lifespan best. If you dont rinse it immediately, you can place the pad in a wetbag (waterproof and odour-proof bag) until washing. There is no strong odour when stored in a wetbag.

Washing Cloth Pads

1. Pre-wash (cold rinse): If you haven't already rinsed the pads one by one, you can put them directly into the washing machine on a cold rinse cycle or rinse them by hand in the shower.

2. Main Wash (60 °C): Wash the pads with other boil wash items at 60 °C.

   • Avoid bleaches and fabric softeners these can damage both the cotton and the waterproof PUL.

3. Drying: Hang the pads to air dry. Do not use a tumble dryer, as the heat can damage the waterproof coating.

4. Once the pads are completely dry, they are ready to reuse.

Tips for use
To achieve the best results and care for the natural materials, we recommend:

Massage gently
Use circular motions if you wish to loosen beginning cradle cap. You may combine this with a drop of organic oil.

Cleaning
Clear the brush of loose hair after use. If the bristles become dusty, they can be gently wiped with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging the entire wooden handle in water.

Application and tips
Since the shampoo contains many active natural substances, it may separate over time – therefore, always shake the bottle before use.

3. For long or very oily hair, two washes are recommended, where the second wash creates a richer lather and allows the oak bark to work fully.

A scrubbing bag from Hydrophil that together with a bar of soap scrubs the dead skin cells off the body.

The soap is put in the bag and will form a soft foam when you scrub.

Scrub the skin with circular movements.

Do not use the scrubbing bag for the skin on the face or neck. The skin is too fine for that.

When you have finished the scrubbing glove, it is important to rinse it thoroughly with water.

Afterwards it must dry up well again.

Do not use the bag to store your soap in. Sisal is a living material, so it will be attacked by bacteria if it is not allowed to dry up properly.

It is a really good idea to soak your sisal scrubbing bag in soapy water for approx. 10-15 min. every 14 days. Then it is rinsed thoroughly and hung to dry.

This gives the sisal scrubbing bag a very long shelf life.

The scrubbing bag is delivered without packaging, so please wash it in soapy water as described before use.

The bag measures 14 x 9 cm.

When your Sisal scrubbing bag can't take it anymore, you can cut it into smaller pieces and use it as a drain at the bottom of your flower pots:-) Otherwise, it can easily just get into the compost and compost from there.

How do you use a Safety Razor?
If you haven't tried a safety razor - or a DE scraper like this one, then you probably just have to get used to using it. And your skin probably needs to too.

But follow this procedure - and you're pretty much on your way:
 

• Moisten skin and beard/hair with warm water
• Use shaving foam or a shaving brush and lather it up well - possibly. with a brush
• Check your scraper and make sure the scraper head and handle are not loose. However, only tighten the screw if it is loose. Then you are sure that the blade is at the right angle
• Start your shave and hold the scraper at a 30 degree angle to the skin
• Let the scraper slide over the skin with light pressure
• Shave only in the direction of the hairs - not against the hairs
• Tighten the skin in places where it can be difficult to get a flat surface - e.g. on the neck

Can a Safety Razor also be used by women?
The short answer is: YES!

The Safety Razor also works well for shaving on the body.

Even though Mühle's leaflet says that it should only be used on the face. But Mühle's products are sold all over the world, so they have probably chosen to be extra careful with their recommendations for that reason. As long as you are careful with the shave, just as you would be if it were on the face, then you can easily use it on the body too.

A woman uses around 3500–3700 disposable pads and tampons over a 10-year period. With cloth pads that have a lifespan of approximately 10 years, you can make do with only 15–20 pads in the same period - depending on use, washing and bleeding.

You also get rid of bleaches, glues and perfumes, which many find cause itching, irritation and rashes. Cloth pads offer a clean, soft and durable solution for your period.

Sizes and quantities

Cloth pads from Women's Place are available in four sizes:

• 20 cm (panty liners)
• 25 cm (day pads)
• 30 cm (night pads)
• 40 cm (postpartum pads or longer night pads)

Most women use approximately 3–6 panty liners, 9–12 day pads and 3–6 night pads during a menstrual period, depending on how often they wash. If you are unsure, you can start with our starter pack, which contains three different sizes.

Material and construction

This makes the pads as dense and absorbent as disposable pads, but without unnecessary chemicals.

Handling and use

1. Direction: The front has two vertical seams; the back is marked with “Women’s Place”. Place the back side down against the briefs, fold the wings under and close with buttons at the back. The top cotton­ layers should face the skin, while the PUL-coated layer should face down.

2. After use: Rinse off the worst blood in cold water under the shower if possible— it preserves the life of the bandage best. If you do not rinse immediately, you can put the bandage in a wetbag (waterproof and odorproof bag) until washing. A strong odor does not form when stored in a wetbag.

Washing cloth napkins

1. Pre-wash (cold rinse): If you have not already rinsed the napkins one at a time, you can put them directly in the washing machine on a cold rinse program or hand wash them under the shower.

2. Main wash (60 °C): Wash the bandages together with other household laundry at 60 °C.

   • Avoid bleaches and fabric softeners – these can damage both cotton and waterproof PUL.

3. Drying: Hang the bandages to air dry. Do not use a tumble dryer, as the heat can destroy the waterproof coating.

4. When the pads are completely dry, they are ready for reuse.

Use

The menstrual cup must be boiled before use and after each menstrual period.

How to use your shampoo bar from Isangs

• Wet the hair and the shampoo bar.
• Carefully pull the shampoo bar through the hair along its entire length.
• Massage the hair and scalp until it foams up.
• Let the shampoo penetrate and then rinse with plenty of water until it is all out of the hair again.
• To achieve the best result with hard water, we recommend rinsing afterwards with Isangs Hair tonic.

• Let your shampoo bar dry after each use and store it dry.

A solid hand soap is a good way to minimize plastic consumption in everyday life, that way you can replace the liquid hand soap and get rid of a lot of packaging.

No boring chemicals are added to the soap either.

This bar of soap is cold-pressed and contains activated carbon, which can help with to clean the skin in depth and maintain the skin's balance.

It has a scent of peppermint, which is lovely fresh and which can have a cooling effect at the same time.

Mellow Mind's soaps are all:

Activated carbon is a form of carbon that undergoes a special activation process that makes it extremely porous. This significantly increases the surface area of ??the coal, making it very effective at absorbing various pollutants. Activated carbon can attract and bind to harmful chemicals, toxins and unwanted odors. It is widely used in water filtration systems and other healthcare products due to its ability to purify and improve water quality. Kishu Binchotan, a traditional Japanese form of activated charcoal, is specially designed to purify drinking water and add beneficial minerals. This makes it a natural choice for those who want cleaner and healthier water without using disposable plastic filters.

When you receive your charcoal stick, do the following:

• Rinse the charcoal thoroughly in water (without soap)
• Put the activated charcoal in a pot of cold water, heat it up and boil for ten minutes. It cleans the charcoal and activates the cleaning processes.
• Take the charcoal out of the pan and let it cool down
• Put the charcoal in a jug or other container and pour water over it
• After six hours the water is cleaned and ready for use
• Refill as much as you want
• Boil the charcoal rod approx. 1 time per month according to the above procedure. It will reactivate the charcoal and remove the substances that the charcoal has taken up. Write it down if necessary. in your calendar so you remember it.

The coal can last for at least 90 days - and often much more. You will be able to taste when you need to replace the charcoal.

The charcoal rods may break during the cooking process. It has no effect on the effect of the charcoal.

Once your activated charcoal has served its water purification purpose, you can use it as an air purifier. It is super effective for cleaning the air indoors and ensuring good air humidity.

You can also use it to remove odors from shoes, sports bags or the fridge.

When you can't find more uses for the charcoal stick, you can simply throw it in the compost bin or in the flower bed. It is super effective as fertilizer too :-)
