Kulvand is a Danish importer of the finest Japanese carbon rods or rather: Kishu Bichotan. You can use activated carbon to clean your drinking water of pesticides, heavy metals, chlorine, fluorides and other chemicals. The activated charcoal also makes your drinking water soft and tasty and adds a lot of healthy minerals. Kulvand's activated carbon is of the absolute highest quality. The charcoal comes from a special black oak tree, which is burned three times at high heat. The coal rods are harvested so that the special trees are not exploited in any way. The carbon rods from Kulvand, which are also called Sumi sticks, are strong in quality and extremely effective.
