• Take the charcoal out of the pot and let it cool down
• Put the charcoal in a jug or other container and pour water over it
• After six hours the water is cleaned and ready for use
• Refill as much as you want
• Boil the charcoal rod approx. 1 time per month according to the above procedure. It will reactivate the charcoal and remove the substances that the charcoal has taken up. Write it down if necessary. in your calendar so you remember it.

The coal can last for at least 90 days - and often much more. You will be able to taste when you need to replace the charcoal.

The charcoal rods may break during the cooking process. It has no effect on the effect of the charcoal.

Once your activated charcoal has served its water purification purpose, you can use it as an air purifier. It is super effective for cleaning the air indoors and ensuring good air humidity.

You can also use it to remove odors from shoes, sports bags or the fridge.

When you can't find more uses for the charcoal stick, you can simply throw it in the compost bin or in the flower bed. It is super effective as fertilizer too :-)

What is a Bee's Wrap?

What is a Stasher Bag?

How to use your Stasher Bag

As you have probably already discovered, Stasher Bags can be used for a great deal. Here are some tips for use in the oven, microwave, sous vide pot and freezer.

Stasher in the oven: Place your open bag on a baking tray and put it in the oven. We recommend heating at a maximum of 210 degrees. And leave the bag slightly open so that the steam can escape.Stasher in the microwave: Leave the bag open here too when you heat food in the microwave. If you are going to make popcorn, we recommend a Stasher Stand-up. It gives a little more space to pop.Stasher in Sous vide pot: Put the food in the bag and slowly lower it into the water. The heat causes the air to seep out of the bag and will create a vacuum around the food. Close the bag and make sure it is completely closed when it is in the water. Prepare as you normally would, but now completely without plastic.Stasher in the freezer: Use Stasher Bags to freeze your food. Tips for Stasher Bags

Write on your Stasher Bag with a whiteboard pen. It comes off easily in the wash

Your Stasher Bag may be discolored by certain foods (tomato and the like). A little smell can also be transferred if you have used your stasher bag for strong foods. Both parts can be remedied with a little baking soda and lemon.

If they get a little discolored over time, you can use vinegar and baking soda to remove them, and if that doesn't work, we have another tip up our sleeve as well.

If you have Stasher bags in Clear or lighter versions, the best way to remove discoloration is to actually let the sun do the work. If you leave your bags out in the sun for a few hours or 3, the UV rays will work to remove the discolouration.

Of course, that requires it to be out in the sky.

You can also remove food smells by putting your stasher bags in the oven at 175 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Make sure they cool down again before handling them.

You can also soak them in hot water with a little vinegar and salt for an hour. It can also help.

And then the best tip is probably just to use it again and again and again :-)

Cleaning your Stasher Bag

Please put your Stasher bag in the dishwasher. It can easily withstand that.

Otherwise you can clean it by hand washing.

Stasher Bags are produced in China under proper conditions.

The block weighs approx. 90 grams.

Beeswax is a fantastic ingredient in skin care products and in homemade beeswax cloths (Bee's Wraps). Use e.g. also beeswax in salves, lip balm, cream and much more.

This block of beeswax is from the Danish Green Wax pool, which ensures a clean product without pesticides. The beeswax is cleaned and filtered without any kind of chemical additives.

The beeswax can be advantageously cut into smaller pieces, or grated into shavings on a grater if you only need to use a small part of the block.

Beeswax has a melting point of approx. 63 degrees and solidifies at around 33 degrees.

How to use Bokashi bran in your compost bin

When you start with an empty Bokashi compost bin, you start by sprinkling a thin layer of Bokashi bran at the bottom. Then you add kitchen waste little by little. Every time you put new food scraps in the container, you again spread an even layer of bran on top and lightly press the waste down before closing the lid tightly.

The combination of bran and food scraps ensures optimal conditions for fermentation. After a few weeks, you will have a valuable pre-compost that you can mix with soil, after which it is quickly transformed into nutrient-rich soil for your plants.

One kilo of Bokashi bran is typically enough for approximately 2-3 months of normal use of the compost bin.

How to use your beeswax candle correctly and safely

The tablet does not dissolve – what do I do?
Set the dishwasher to a longer program with a higher temperature. Also check that the tablet option in the machine is working correctly.

The tablet crumbles – is it still good?
Yes! Tablets affected by moisture or transport damage may bend, but this does not affect the effect. Just pour the crumbs into the soap drawer.

Why plastic bucket?
Because cardboard requires plastic wrapping of each tablet. The recycled HDPE plastic container can be used again and again – and finally sorted for recycling. A practical and truly durable solution.

What can you use puer for?

Puer can be used for so many different things in the household.

For example, use it as:

• Bleach when you wash white - add 1-2 tbsp. together with your detergent
• Soaking very dirty clothes (white and colourfast) - 1-2 tbsp. for 10 liters of water
• Cleaning the toilet - pour puer into the toilet together with boiling water and leave to work overnight. Then scrub clean with the toilet brush
• Cleaning drains - pour 1-2 tbsp. Puer down the drain (preferably with vinegar). It dissolves greasy deposits. Leave on for at least 15 minutes

Puer or sodium percarbonate is oxygen-enriched washing soda (sodium carbonate). When activated with hot water, oxygen is released and hydrogen peroxide is formed, which has a bleaching effect. The hydrogen atmosphere also has a disinfecting effect.

Puer breaks down into water and oxygen with a lot of fizz and foam, so it is completely biodegradable.

For Puer to work properly, it must be used with water with a temperature of at least 40 degrees. The powder does not dissolve or activate in cold water.

• Boil the charcoal rod approx. 1 time per month according to the above procedure. It will reactivate the charcoal and remove the substances that the charcoal has taken up. Write it down if necessary. in your calendar so you remember it.

The coal can last for at least 90 days - and often much more. You will be able to taste when you need to replace the charcoal.

The charcoal rods may break during the cooking process. It has no effect on the effect of the charcoal.

Once your activated charcoal has served its water purification purpose, you can use it as an air purifier. It is super effective for cleaning the air indoors and ensuring good air humidity.

You can also use it to remove odors from shoes, sports bags or the fridge.

Your Stasher Bag may be discolored by certain foods (tomato and the like). A little smell can also be transferred if you have used your stasher bag for strong foods. Both parts can be remedied with a little baking soda and lemon.

If they get a little discolored over time, you can use vinegar and baking soda to remove them, and if that doesn't work, we have another tip up our sleeve as well.

If you have Stasher bags in Clear or lighter versions, the best way to remove discoloration is to actually let the sun do the work. If you leave your bags out in the sun for a few hours or 3, the UV rays will work to remove the discolouration.

Of course, that requires it to be out in the sky.

You can also remove food smells by putting your stasher bags in the oven at 175 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Make sure they cool down again before handling them.

You can also soak them in hot water with a little vinegar and salt for an hour. It can also help.

And then the best tip is probably just to use it again and again and again :-)

Cleaning your Stasher Bag

This dishwashing brush is 100% plastic-free and made exclusively from natural materials. The washing-up brush is made of beech wood and metal and the fibers on the brush are made of leaf ribs from the agave cactus.

The brush hairs are resistant to both heat, acid and base.

These bags are marked 'OK Compost Industrial', which means that they are compostable at industrial plants that use e.g. heat composting.

Laundry Sheets the easiest way to wash clothes

Laundry Sheets is a Swedish company that was created based on the desire to reduce plastic waste in packaging and products for laundry.

They have created Laundry Sheets, which is a detergent in sheet form.

Laundry Sheets is plant-based and without boring chemicals. It is detergent in dried and concentrated form, which dissolves easily in both hot and cold water. In this way, you yourself save a lot of space on the shelf, but not least you save the environment from a burden, because it is far more climate-friendly not to transport a lot of liquid around the globe. And at the same time you save the world from plastic waste. Laundry Sheets comes in a box made of recycled paper and is completely free of plastic.

One sheet per wash easier dosing method does not exist! In other words, you don't run the risk of overdoing a wash. Which is also a financial saving.

Reusable coffee filter

Pack of 3 reusable coffee filters from Danish Cocoon Company.

The coffee filters are in GOTS certified organic cotton.

The coffee filters can be used again and again and that way you can ditch the disposable filter.

By using your coffee filter again, you save both the environment and your economy from unnecessary resources and expenses.

If you use, for example, 3 coffee filters per day, you use a total of 1095 coffee filters per year. You save them with these 3 filters, which should last 1 year each if you take good care of them.

In addition, a fabric coffee filter is also extremely effective at capturing the coffee oils from the coffee, which are the ones that can cause stomach aches. The coffee oils settle in the filter, which must then be boiled out once in a while - see below.

These coffee filters are in size 4, which gives 6-12 cups.

How to use your reusable coffee filter

Put your ground coffee directly into the coffee filter and use the filter as you usually in either a coffee machine or funnel.

Maintenance of your reusable coffee filter

Before the first use and then every 6 - 8 weeks, the coffee filter should be boiled for 10 minutes to remove any coffee oils.

If food gets on your coffee filter, you should also boil the filter in approx. 10 min.

If your coffee filter becomes too dense over time, so that the coffee has difficulty flowing through, you can benefit from boiling it with a little limescale remover. For example this really effective and conscious version.

After use, you can pour the coffee grounds into the compost - or maybe use it as a scrub:-)

How to use your beeswax candle correctly and safely

• Continuously cut the wick down - this way the candle burns best and slowly, and you avoid the candle sooting.
• At the same time, you must avoid drafts in the room where the candle is.
• The wick should burn up by itself, but fall if a small piece comes off and lands in the light, it impairs the quality of the firewood.

Furthermore, pay attention to the fire authorities' instructions for burning candles:

• Never leave a lighted candle.
• Always place lit candles so that children and animals cannot knock them over.
• Always supervise candles.
• Always turn off candles when you go to bed or leave the home.
• Candles must be placed well away from fluttering curtains.
• Never have candles in children's rooms.
• Cake (especially tealights) can spill out and start burning
• Do not blow out candles, but suffocate the flame. For example with a pot that is placed over the candle(s) with the bottom in the air.

Ordinary baking paper is often a coated paper with a coating of silicone, which can therefore rarely be used more than once.

This makes conventional baking paper a bigger recycling problem for our environment than many of us realize. A reusable baking paper will therefore both limit the amount of disposable baking paper we send for incineration, and be good for the wallet.

How does dishwasher salt work?
In every dishwasher, there is a so-called ion exchanger (water softener). The task of this device is to remove lime from the water so that you get "soft water" for washing. When the ion exchanger is saturated with lime, it must be cleaned – or "regenerated."

This is where the salt for the dishwasher comes into play. The product functions as regenerating salt. The salt cleans the ion exchanger so it can absorb lime again. Without sufficient dishwasher salt, your machine will wash with hard water, quickly leading to dull grey lime films on your glasses and plates, as well as potential damage to the machine's heating element.

Dosage and Usage Instructions
To achieve the best washing results and avoid lime spots, always ensure that the dishwasher's salt reservoir is filled with regenerating salt. The machine typically indicates when it is running low on salt.

If possible
Because Sonett salt is completely pure and without additives, Sonett recommends a specific setting for optimal performance:

• You should set your dishwasher's water softening system to a hardness level that is 8°dH higher than your local water's actual hardness level.

Example: If your local water utility states that the water hardness is 12°dH, you should set your dishwasher to 20°dH. Refer to your machine's manual to learn how to adjust this.

How long can the wash nuts be used?

The wash nuts can be used for approx. 5 washes - depending on the temperatures you wash at.

High temperatures will release more saponin from the soap berries than low temperatures.

When the soap berries become light and soft, they are exhausted.
