Turbine is a publishing house with headquarters close to Aarhus Harbor and a committed staff of approx. 15 employees. Each year, Turbine publishes more than 400 titles that range widely – from children's books and crime novels to cookbooks, novels and specialist books, aimed at both broad and niche target groups. The publisher has a strong focus on sustainability and works purposefully to ensure that the majority of publications are either climate-neutral or climate-compensated, which is indicated on the back of the book. The climate impact is carefully calculated, from the production of raw materials to the finished books reaching the publisher's warehouse in Haslev.
