Kapok roll mattress - 90x200 cm

Cocoon Company

PAD-090200

If you have a mattress with many good years left in it, a replacement might not be a super natural or chemical-free choice. On the other hand, you can easily take advantage of kapok's unique properties by purchasing a roll-top mattress in organic kapok instead.

Kapok can do something quite special. Kapok insulates, regulates temperature and transports moisture away from the body, which is super ideal in a sleeping environment. Kapok is also recommended for allergy sufferers, as house dust mites cannot live in the fibre, due to a natural content of an antibacterial bitter substance.

The roll-top mattress can also be used on top of a kapok mattress if you think the kapok mattress is a little too hard.

This roll-top mattress measures 90x200 cm

The roll-top mattress is hand-stuffed with untreated organic kapok, covered with a spring of 100% organically certified cotton.
Since it is hand-stuffed, there may be some variation in the goals.

Maintenance of your kapok mattress

Kapok is a natural fiber with quite unique properties.

And they are definitely worth taking good care of.

As a general rule, you should only wash your kapok mattress if it is strictly necessary.

If the stains are minor, we recommend spot washing.

If it is necessary to wash your kapok roller mattress, then you do this:

How to wash your kapok roller mattress

  • Wash preferably at 40 degrees to protect the fiber. However, 60 degrees is possible if necessary.
  • Choose a short washing program, as the kapok cannot stand being wet for too long
  • Choose centrifugation at 1200 revolutions to get as much water as possible out of the kapok
  • Use a gentle detergent without enzymes or bleach. For example, Cocoon's soap berry or a fine detergent with or without probiotics
  • Do not use fabric softener
  • Dry the kapok roller mattress immediately after wash

How to dry your kapok mattress pad

  • The kapok mattress pad is dried only in the dryer
  • Give yourself plenty of time. We recommend using dryer balls in wool to reduce drying time. They also ensure that the fibers are gently separated
  • Do not use tennis balls as they break the fiber
  • Choose a 30 minute program with medium heat. Look at the kapok mattress pad and repeat until it is slightly damp.
  • Let the kapok mattress pad dry in a warm place until the rest of the moisture is gone.
  • Be careful not to dry too long in the dryer, as this can reduce the life of the fiber.

Detergent 1 liter

Ulrich Natürlich

ULN-01408

Liquid delicate detergent in a 1-litre bottle.

For organic washing of delicate textiles such as wool and silk.

This delicate wash contains detergents from coconut oil, plant soaps and lactic acid. The lactic acid removes limescale and gives the detergent a skin-friendly pH value.

The detergent does not contain colour, fragrance, preservatives, optical white or petrochemical substances. Neither does phosphate, which is harmful to the environment. Then if you live in the countryside, like me - without connection to a municipal sewage treatment plant, then phosphate-free products are a good and conscious alternative.

1 liter of delicate detergent is enough for approx. 50 washes. The detergent is highly concentrated, so doses approx. 20 ml. per wash in a 4.5 kg machine.

The capsule contains 30 ml. Use it if necessary. as dosage and throw it into the machine.

Ulrich Natürlich's delicate detergent is also available in a 5-litre can, which saves the environment from a whole lot of plastic packaging. If Ulrich Natürlich is a regular part of your washing routine, then it is worth considering.

Bile soap - Natural stain remover - 250 ml.

Ulrich Natürlich

ULN-01675

Bile soap - 250 ml.

The world's best and completely natural stain remover.

Bile soap is basically super sticky. It contains washing active substances from coconut oil and plant soaps - and then it contains bile extract. It smells bad (of course), but it works!

Officially it works on grease, starch and egg white stains, but at home it also works fantastically on most other stains: tomato, colorful berries and indefinable kindergarten stains. Of course, only if the stain is treated relatively soon after it has appeared.

Bile soap is applied directly to the stain and should preferably be left to work for a minimum of 10 minutes. You can also wash an entire machine with 35 ml. bile soap without additional detergents

Pump for 5- and 10-litre cans

Ulrich Natürlich

600201

Super practical pump for dosing detergent for 5- and 10-litre cans.

Each pump stroke gives 30 ml. - enough for one wash.

The pump fits the 10 liter canister from Ulrich Natürlich as it is. If you use it for a 5-liter can, the tube must be shortened by 2.5 cm. Shorten the end that is up against the pump head - this is the easiest.

The thread on the pump measures approx. 4 cm. in diameter at the very bottom and barely 5 cm. on the widest part at the far end.

Be aware that the pump can only be used for detergent and not thin-flowing liquids.

For thin-flowing liquids such as the descaling agent, we recommend the outlet tap See our large laundry guide here.

Klean Kanteen

KLK-54379

Thermo lunch box from Klean Kanteen

Super practical thermo lunch box in stainless steel from Klean Kanteen.

It is perfect for those who want to take hot food with them on the go. Or cold for that matter.

This thermo food container is completely sealed and can hold 473 ml. The thermos box can keep your food hot for 7 hours and cold for 25 hours.

The thermos box is designed to keep meals such as soups, porridge and stews warm. There must therefore be liquid in the dish to keep it warm. And in addition, the lunchbox must be completely full to keep the food warm. Or cold yogurt, cold bowls or smoothies when you're on the go.

Klean Kanteen's products are truly world class when it comes to the insulating effect. The thermo lunch box has a strong-as-steel guarantee and you can therefore count on it to last a lifetime.

The lid has a practical handle so you can attach it to your bag, your belt or something else.

The lunch box measures 12.1 cm. in height and 11.8 cm. in diameter

The opening is 11 cm. and makes it extra easy to fill in and clean.

Why should your thermal food box be made of steel?

Stainless steel is - like glass - a clean and durable choice for storing your food.

Here you don't have to worry about contamination of harmful chemicals to your hot or cold food items.

Stainless steel does not absorb odors or tastes from food items. The material thus retains its purity, no matter what you put in it.

A silicone seal ensures that the container is sealed. It can be removed again when the container needs to be cleaned.

Cleaning your thermo lunch box

We recommend that you wash your thermo lunch box by hand.

The insulating effect can be damaged by putting it in the dishwasher.

Just use a good dishwasher brush and a little mild dishwasher for daily cleaning.

The lid, on the other hand, you can easily put in the dishwasher. It can be taken apart as you can see in the last picture in the series of pictures.

Kapok mattress for cradle - 40x90 cm

Cocoon Company

MAT-040090

Kapok mattress from Cocoon Company

The kapok mattress is hand-filled with untreated organic kapok, covered with a spring made of 100% organically certified cotton.

This kapok mattress for crib measures 40x90x3.5 cm.

A kapok mattress is a natural and organic solution for your baby.

A kapok mattress is firm as recommended by experts for babies and children.

And the mattress does not contain formaldehyde, flame retardants or fluorine substances, which unfortunately most conventional foam mattresses do.

Kapok is a natural fiber that grows wild in the tropical rainforests.

It is produced sustainably and processed according to ecological standards.

The kapok fiber is insulating, temperature regulating and transports moisture away from the body - in the same way like wool.

These are really good properties in a sleeping environment. Especially for a small baby who may have difficulty regulating body temperature.

Kapok is recommended for allergy sufferers, as the fiber contains a natural antibacterial bitter substance that house dust mites cannot live in.

The Kapok mattress is hand-sewn and stuffed by hand, so please note that there may be slight differences in shape and measurements.

Maintenance of your kapok mattress

It is a good idea to give your kapok mattress a little air from time to time.

You do this by placing it on its side from time to time.

If you have a bed with a slab base without air flow, you must pay particular attention to airing your mattress.

Because the slab base will not be able to transport moisture and heat away from the mattress and in the worst case this can result in fungal spores at the bottom of your mattress.

The mattress is hand-stuffed with loose natural fibres, and therefore the mattress must be maintained once in a while as needed, where you put the mattress on its edge and massage/press the fiber from the edge towards the middle, where the mattress is most stressed during use. Otherwise, the mattress can form a hole where the kapok fiber is pressed the most.

Essential Palmerosa oil - Organic - 20 ml

Cocoon Company

ESO-160112

Fragrant laundry without chemicals

If, like many others, for good green reasons, you have also switched to conscious and neutral detergents and possibly soap berries, but just miss the fresh, clean scent that you might be used to from before, then a good alternative could be these organic, essential oils for the laundry from Cocoon. Because fragrant laundry is just fantastic for many.

It comes in the finest cardboard box in a 20 ml. bottle with drip spout.

BOK-76049

Bokashi compost bin

Right here, a beautiful design is combined with functionality in focus. Then you're lucky.

Bokashi 2.0 almost sounds like a very fast Japanese car - but is actually something as down-to-earth as a compost bin for your kitchen.

It's not Japanese either, the Bokashimethod originates from Korea, and is a pretty smart way to make your own free and natural fertiliser.

Bokashi is a special way of composting your bio-waste. Food waste and organic residues break down in the airtight bin in just 14 days using compost yeast, microorganisms and enzymes.

The organic waste actually goes through a fermentation - that is, a chemical fermentation process, and the method is fast and differs quite a lot from traditional ways of composting in large compost bins filled with air.

The food waste becomes nutrition that can be mixed with / added to soil and used in, for example, potted plants, pots and raised beds. The Bokashi liquid that is tapped from the bottom of the bucket is great as both fertilizer and drain cleaner.

With the Bokashi compost bin, you have the opportunity to recycle your organic waste from the kitchen and get rid of it in a natural, good and meaningful way. It's a pretty great invention, especially for people who live in an apartment or townhouse with a sparse garden. You can even take it into the garden.

Bokashi 2.0 has a nice design and comes in three nice colours. This one is in the variant KHAKI GREEN

The compost binis produced in the EU from recycled plastic.

The bin is designed to be nice and smart in a kitchen. And to be able to stand on the kitchen table and be easy to handle.

It has a height of 34 cm and a diameter of 24 cm.

It weighs, without contents, 2.8 kg and holds 9.6 litres.

How to use your Bokashi Compost bin

It takes soil to make bokashi compost. It can be from a garden or from pots and raised beds. Bokashi must be mixed with soil to become compost.

  • You first sprinkle compost yeast into your empty Bokashibucket, fill your food waste on top, sprinkle again and press the stamp down.
  • Then you sprinkle compost yeast on top after each time you fill in (preferably only 1-2 times daily).

  • The plunger creates a vacuum inside the bucket when you push it down onto the bucket.
  • When you pull it up to add more food scraps, pull the handle, which releases the vacuum so the plate can be lifted out.
  • When the bucket is full, the contents must fully ferment for 2 weeks before emptying.
  • When you emptying the bucket, you can fold the round piston together so that it forms a semicircle and use it to scrape the bucket clean of food residues.
  • Afterwards you can wash the individual parts in the dishwasher.
  • The contents you empty out must be mixed with other soil to become compost. (Some make a small "soil factory" on the balcony or somewhere else).
  • The drained liquid, which must be drained from the bottom of the bucket, can be used as fertilizer immediately if it is diluted 1:100.

Bokashi is a special way to compost your bio-waste. Food waste and organic residues break down in the airtight bin in just 14 days using compost yeast, microorganisms and enzymes. It is recommended to have two buckets in order to have a continuous flow in the composting, so you can fill one while the other ferments.

The organic waste actually goes through a fermentation, i.e. a chemical fermentation process, and the method is fast and differs quite a lot from traditional ways of composting in large compost containers filled with air.

If you don't have space for the bins in your kitchen, you can advantageously acquire a Bokashi Davli, which is perfect for collecting your food waste in the kitchen, which you then move into the Bokashi bin when it is filled.

Wet mattress sheet for adult bed - 180x200 cm

Cocoon Company

BWP-180200

Breathable wet bed sheet from Cocoon Company

Wet bed sheet or pee pad in organic cotton and with breathable membrane in bioplastic from Cocoon Company.

This wet bed sheet is quite unique.

It is both breathable and naturally degradable.

"Ordinary" wet bed sheets have a plastic membrane. This means that the body cannot breathe on top of it.

But this wet lying sheet is breathable and completely tight.

The membrane is made of TPU. It cannot be compared with PU plastic. It is breathable, reusable and naturally degradable.

This wet bed sheet fits an adult bed measuring 180 x 200 cm.

The wet bed sheet measures 180 x 200 cm.

How do you use Cocoon's wet bed sheet?

The wet bed sheet is placed on top of the mattress, but underneath your ordinary sheet.

It provides the best lying comfort.

For small mattresses, the wet bed sheet is simply placed loosely on top of the mattress. For larger mattresses, fasten the wet bed sheet around the mattress with the sewn-on elastics.

Wash your wet bed sheet

Only wash the wet bed sheet when necessary. In this way, you protect the environment and the sheet as much as possible.

We recommend that you wash the wet bed sheet at 40 degrees or a maximum of 60 degrees.

Please choose a washing program for heavy laundry, as the wet bed sheet can become heavy when washed, which some washing machines and/or washing programs find difficult to spin.

If the wet bed sheet is still very wet after washing, you can consider spinning it an extra time time.

The wet layer should not be dried in a tumble dryer. It should instead be hung to dry.

Note that the sheet can shrink 8-10%

Pillow with natural latex & merino wool - 50x60 cm

Pillow with natural latex & merino wool - 50x60 cm

Cocoon Company

LWP-050060

The softest natural latex pillow

If you are looking for an organic pillow without flame retardants, formaldehyde and other off-gassing substances, then a natural latex pillow from Danish Cocoon Company is a really good offer.

A soft and really comfortable pillow that is handmade from start to finish and is a completely organic alternative.

The pillow consists of small soft pieces of pure natural latex, mixed with loose untreated organic wool. The natural latex is soft and super comfortable to lie on and provides optimal support and comfort.

The filling is in an inner pillow of cotton jersey. And on the outside of it there is a thick and removable cover made of GOTS certified organic cotton.

The outer cover has a zipper, so you can remove it in connection with washing.

And the inner bag also has a zipper, which makes it possible to adjust the amount of filling according to your needs.

A breathable natural latex pillow

This organic pillow consists of 3 organic materials: Natural latex, wool and organic cotton.

Natural latex is known for the soft and comfortable body support and for an absolutely superb breathability.

But most often natural latex is mixed with synthetic latex because it is cheaper to produce. However, that is not the case here. All natural latex in this pillow is 100% natural and certified organic. In fact, it is GOLS certified organic, which is your guarantee that the latex comes from organic latex plantations and no artificial and harmful additives have been added.

In addition, small pieces of organic wool have been added, so that the pillow can also regulate your temperature throughout the night.

And then the pillow is surrounded by a cover of organic cotton on the outside.

So this natural latex pillow consists of 3 completely natural and organic materials that you can safely sleep with without worrying about problematic off-gassing substances.

The pillow measures 50 x 60 cm.

Maintenance of your natural latex pillow

You can wash the pillow by accident. And otherwise you can take off the outer cover and wash if necessary.

The natural content of lanolin in the wool also helps to keep house dust mites away from the pillow and makes it hypoallergenic.

The wool is flame retardant in itself.

Kapok duvet - 200x200 cm

Cocoon Company

DUV-200200

Kapok duvet - double duvet

Organic double duvet in the most lovely and temperature-regulating kapok.

Kapok is also called silk cotton because the incredibly soft fiber. Kapok is the world's smallest natural fiber. And kapok is a temperature-regulating material that makes it incredibly good at transporting moisture away from the body during the night. The temperature-regulating effect makes it super suitable all year round.

A kapok duvet is therefore also very suitable if you find it difficult to keep warm at night - or perhaps find it difficult to get rid of the heat again.

The kapok fiber is also antibacterial, so you don't get house dust mites visiting when you lie down and sleep.

Under this double duvet there can be two persons.

The double duvet is filled with untreated organic kapok, with a spring of 100% organically certified cotton.

The duvet measures 200x200 cm.

Please note that the kapok duvet feels a little different from a normal down duvet. It is slightly heavier and initially resembles a cotton blanket. But the fiber shrinks over time, so it is stopped up well at the start so that it does not become too flat over time.

Maintenance of your kapok duvet

Kapok is a natural fiber with quite unique properties.

And they are definitely worth taking good care of.

As a general rule, you should only wash your kapok duvet if it is strict necessary.
The kapok fibers can be damaged by washing and clump together, so we therefore advise against washing, unless the duvet cannot be used without it.
For normal use, it is sufficient to simply air the duvet.

If the stains are smaller, we recommend spot washing.

But if it is necessary to wash your kapok duvet, then do it like this:

How to wash your kapok duvet
  • Wash preferably at 40 degrees to protect the fibre.
For example Cocoon's soap berry or a delicate detergent with or without probiotics
  • Do not use fabric softener
  • Dry the kapok duvet immediately after washing

How to dry your kapok duvet
  • Kapok duvets are dried alone in the dryer
  • Give yourself plenty of time. We recommend using dryer balls in wool to reduce drying time. They also ensure that the fibers are gently separated
  • Do not use tennis balls as they break the fiber
  • Choose a 30 minute program with medium heat. Look at the kapok pillow and repeat until it is slightly damp.
  • Let the kapok duvet dry in a warm place until the rest of the moisture is gone.
  • Be careful not to dry too long in the dryer, as this can reduce the life of the fiber.

Kapok additional mattress for Leander bed - 66x31 cm

Cocoon Company

MAT-066031

Organic additional mattress in kapok, which, together with the baby mattress, fits a junior Leander bed.

Kapok is a chemical-free, durable and natural product for your child.

Kapok mattresses do not contain mold residue, flame retardants or fluorine substances, which unfortunately most other mattresses do. And since the mattress cannot be washed before use, a natural and ecological alternative is really a good priority.

Kapok is a unique and temperature-regulating natural material that grows wild in the tropical rainforests. Kapok is collected from giant kapok trees, stuffed and hand-sewn by local workers in India.

Kapok is recommended for allergy sufferers, as the fiber contains an antibacterial substance that house dust mites cannot live in.

This additional mattress for the Leander bed measures 66 x 31 x 7 cm.

The additional mattress is hand-stuffed with untreated organic kapok, covered with a spring of 100% organically certified cotton.
As it is hand-stuffed, there may be some variation in the measurements.

Maintenance of your kapok mattress

It is a good idea to give your kapok mattress a little air from time to time.

You do this by placing it on its side once in a while.

Do you have a bed? with a slab base without air flow, you must pay particular attention to airing your mattress.

Because the slab base will not be able to transport moisture and heat away from the mattress and in the worst case this can result in fungal spores at the bottom of your mattress.

Ulrich Natürlich

ULN-01767

Liquid detergent with descaling in a 1-litre bottle from Ulrich Natürlich.

This detergent is for colored washing.

The detergent can be used at all washing temperatures.

The liquid detergent contains detergents from coconut oil, vegetable soaps and lactic acid. The lactic acid removes limescale and gives the detergent a skin-friendly pH value.

The detergent contains no colour, fragrance, preservatives, optical white or petrochemical substances. Nor the substance phosphate, which is harmful to the environment.

If, like me, you live in the countryside without connection to a municipal sewage treatment plant, then phosphate-free products are the absolute most conscious alternative.

1 liter of detergent is enough for approx. 33 washing. The detergent is highly concentrated, so do not dose more than 30 ml. per wash with a 4.5 kg machine.

If you live in an area with a very high level of lime in the water, you can advantageously add extra lactic acid to your wash. For example this.

The capsule contains 30 ml. Use it if necessary. as a dosage meter and throw it into the machine.

Ulrich Natürlich's detergents are also available in 5- and 10-litre cans, which save the environment from a whole lot of plastic packaging.

So if Ulrich Natürlich is a regular part of your washing routine, then it might be worth considering.

  • Wash preferably at 40 degrees to protect the fibre. 60 degrees is, however, possible if necessary.
  • Choose a short washing program, as the kapok cannot stand being wet for too long
  • Choose centrifugation at 1200 revolutions to get as much water as possible out of the kapok
  • Use a gentle detergent without enzymes or bleach. For example, Cocoon's soap berry or a detergent with or without probiotics

Look at the kapok roll mattress and repeat until it is slightly damp.
  • Let the kapok roll mattress dry in a warm place until the rest of the moisture is gone.
  • Be careful not to dry for too long in the dryer, as this can reduce the life of the fiber.

Kapok summer duvet - 140x200 cm

Cocoon Company

DUL-140200

Kapok summer duvet

Organic summer duvet in soft and temperature-regulating kapok.

Kapok summer duvet is approx. half as much filling as a regular kapok duvet and is therefore very suitable for a hot summer or for those who just feel extra warm at night. The half amount of filling also means that it is not as robust as the year-round duvet, understood in the sense that the filling will tangle more easily during use. It can create small cold bridges in the sewn areas of the duvet. So be careful to keep washing to an absolute minimum and instead hang duvets for airing.

Kapok is also called silk cotton. It is light and breathable and transports moisture away from the body.

Kapok is also recommended for allergy sufferers, as kapok contains an antibacterial bitter substance that house dust mites cannot live in.

The quilt is hand-filled with untreated organic kapok, covered with a spring of 100% organically certified cotton.

The quilt measures 140x200 cm.

The weighs approx. 1200 grams.

Be aware that kapok duvets may feel different from ordinary down duvets. It is slightly heavier than down and perhaps a little more like a cotton blanket.

Maintenance of your kapok duvet

Kapok is a natural fiber with quite unique properties.

And they are definitely worth taking good care of.

As a general rule, you should only wash your kapok duvet if it is strictly necessary.
The kapok fibers can be damaged by washing and clumping. together, so we therefore advise against washing, unless the duvet cannot be used without it.
For normal use, it is sufficient to simply air the duvet.

If the stains are smaller, we recommend spot washing.

But if it is necessary to wash your kapok duvet, do it like this:

Ulrich Natürlich

ULN-03037

For organic washing of delicate textiles such as wool, silk and fur. The detergent contains lanolin, which refreshes the clothes and gives, especially woolen clothes, good water-repellent properties back.

Kapok roll mattress for Juno bed - Pulled out - 62x144 cm

Cocoon Company

PAD-062144

A kapok roll mattress is both soft and comfortable to sleep on.

If you have a mattress with a lot of good years left in it, you can easily take advantage of kapok's properties by simply acquiring a roll mattress in organic kapok.

Kapok is something very special. Kapok insulates, regulates temperature and transports moisture away from the body, which is super ideal for small children who often have difficulty regulating their body temperature. Kapok is also recommended for allergy sufferers, as house dust mites cannot live in the fibre, due to a natural content of an antibacterial bitter substance.

The roll-top mattress can also be used on top of a kapok mattress if you think the kapok mattress is a little too hard.

This roll-top mattress fits a Juno junior bed and measures 62x144 cm. The roll mattress is hand-stuffed with untreated organic kapok, covered with a spring of 100% organically certified cotton.
Since it is hand-stuffed, there may be some variation in the measurements.

Please also use it for the Juno baby bed. You just tuck the excess piece of mattress under the mattress until the bed is expanded with the additional mattress.

Baby wool pillow - flat - 40x45 cm

Cocoon Company

WPB-040045

Wool pillow from Cocoon

A wool pillow from Cocoon Company is one of the softest things you can imagine.

The wool pillow is made of organic merino wool and organic GOTS certified cotton

This pillow measures 40x45 cm.

A wool pillow is a soft and temperature-regulating choice. The wool's content of lanolin enables it to absorb moisture from the body - without the pillow becoming damp in itself.

It is also the lanolin that makes the wool pillow antibacterial and ensures that house dust mites cannot live in it.

Wool pillows from Cocoon Company are produced in Europe. And the wool itself comes from organic merino sheep from South America.

South America is a super good climate for sheep. In that climate, the sheep are not affected by parasites and flies, which makes it completely unnecessary to spray them or carry out the cruel mulesing, as the sheep generally just thrive.

Maintenance of your wool pillow from Cocoon Company

A wool pillow should not be washed. The lanolin in the wool is important for the pillow's temperature-regulating function - and the lanolin is quietly washed out of the pillow when it is washed.

On the other hand, it is a very good idea to air the pillow regularly. It is good for the humidity in the pillow and for the lightness. If you can air it in freezing weather, it is the absolute best thing you can do.

If an accident has occurred, however, we recommend that you spot wash the pillow.

Alternatively, you can of course also send it to be cleaned if a more thorough cleaning of the pillow is necessary.

The wool pillow must never be tumbled dry, but must instead be left to dry.
