Maintenance of your corn pillow

You don't need to wash your corn pillow before use. No harmful chemicals are added in the manufacturing process.

So feel free to air your pillow regularly. Frosty weather is especially good for airing duvets and pillows.

If the pillow is to be washed, it can be washed at 60 degrees, but preferably lower, so that you protect the fine corn fiber and take a little extra care of the environment.

Make sure to run the wash at low revolutions - again to take good care of the fine corn fiber so that it does not tangle. However, should this happen, you can easily filter out the fibers again.

Dry the pillow in a tumble dryer at medium heat. Very happy with these drying balls, which reduce the drying time by approx. 25%.

Use

Why is the dishwashing gel not made from 100% natural ingredients?
The gel currently contains a chelating agent that helps soften the water and remove other unwanted compounds. 85% of this substance is of natural origin and it is chemically modified to be as effective as possible.

The result is that in addition to Ca2+ and Mg2+ ions (the main compounds that cause water hardness) it can also remove Cu2+, Fe2+, Fe3+, Mn2+ and Zn2+ ions. These ions impair the appearance, taste, smell and color of the water (iron gives the water a rusty colour, manganese makes it brown or even black). The chelating agent is completely degradable and replaces a less effective EDDS agent.

What is the recommended water temperature?
If you use enzyme-free machine detergents - such as those from TIERRA VERDE - you must set the temperature to at least 40 °C.

The same principle applies to dishwashers and washing machines: We consider the environmental impact of raising the temperature to be significantly more acceptable than the impact by using synthetic and toxic agents. NOTE: The product is delivered in undersize (which means that the product is slightly shorter than the length measurement stated above). The product will stretch a little in length after it has been used, after which the product will reach the normal length measurement. If you work a little with the fiber, i.e. e.g. if you roll the mattress once in a while, it will go faster to reach full length. Typically, it will yield approx. 5 cm per week until full length is achieved.

If you want other sizes of mattress toppers, you must finally let us know. The top mattresses can be ordered in special sizes - however with a slightly longer delivery time, depending on when you order.

Although you most likely use chemical-free cleaning agents, it can be hard on your hands to be in water for a long time, and sometimes you also have to use slightly harsher agents to get rid of the worst dirt

The gloves here are made in Europe by French La droguerie écologique; a brand that strikes a blow for both gentle production and clean materials and local, European workplaces. So we really like that! They are thus a good alternative to traditional rubber gloves and plastic gloves.

Beeswax Food Wrapping

With Haps Nordic's beeswax paper, you can wrap your food in an incredibly easy and natural way instead of using disposable packaging like cling film, freezer bags, and parchment paper.

You can use them for everything from bread and fruit to covering a bowl in the fridge or for your sandwich in the lunchbox as a kind of reusable parchment paper.

They can be used for almost all types of food, but due to the risk of bacterial growth, you should not use beeswax paper for fresh, raw meat.

How to Use Beeswax Paper

• Fold the beeswax cloth around the food or bowl.
• The warmth from your hands makes the material soft, so it wraps easily around the food.
• The reusable parchment paper hardens again when cooled, and therefore sits tightly.
• After use, gently clean your beeswax cloth with alcohol-free soap in cool water using a soft cloth or sponge.
• Pat the cloth dry with a tea towel without wringing.
• And it's ready to use again.

• Do not soak your beeswax paper.
• Beeswax cloths should not be used for fresh, raw meat.

How to Make Your Own Beeswax Paper

You can either make your own beeswax paper completely from scratch with a piece of thin and light cotton fabric, or you can renew your worn beeswax cloths if the wax is starting to wear off.

Bubble Buddy multifunctional soap dish in recycled plastic

So here it is! The most ingenious little everyday favorite - a soap holder, grater, collector and container in one and the same product. A must have for your soap bar, if you ask us.

The fact that it also has the most beautiful playful, bubbly name and the finest story certainly doesn't matter. The Bubble Buddy soap dish can do it all.
