How to use your Stasher Bag

As you have probably already discovered, Stasher Bags can be used for a great deal. Here are some tips for use in the oven, microwave, sous vide pot and freezer.

Stasher in the oven: Place your open bag on a baking tray and put it in the oven. We recommend heating at a maximum of 210 degrees. And leave the bag slightly open so that the steam can escape.Stasher in the microwave: Leave the bag open here too when you heat food in the microwave. If you are going to make popcorn, we recommend a Stasher Stand-up. It gives a little more space to pop.Stasher in Sous vide pot: Put the food in the bag and slowly lower it into the water. The heat causes the air to seep out of the bag and will create a vacuum around the food. Close the bag and make sure it is completely closed when it is in the water. Prepare as you normally would, but now completely without plastic.Stasher in the freezer: Use Stasher Bags to freeze your food in. They are brilliant for leftovers from dinner or for wet food such as fruit or meat. Tips for Stasher Bags

Write on your Stasher Bag with a whiteboard pen. It comes off easily in the wash

Your Stasher Bag may be discolored by certain foods (tomato and the like). A little smell can also be transferred if you have used your stasher bag for strong foods. Both parts can be remedied with a little baking soda and lemon.

If they get a little discolored over time, you can use vinegar and baking soda to remove them, and if that doesn't work, we have another tip up our sleeve as well.

If you have Stasher bags in Clear or lighter versions, the best way to remove discoloration is to actually let the sun do the work. If you leave your bags out in the sun for a few hours or 3, the UV rays will work to remove the discolouration.

Of course, it requires that it is up in the sky.

You can also remove food smells by putting your stasher bags in the oven at 175 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Make sure they cool down again before handling them.

You can also soak them in hot water with a little vinegar and salt for an hour. It can also help.

And then the best tip is probably just to use it again and again and again :-)

Cleaning your Stasher Bag

Please put your Stasher bag in the dishwasher. It can easily withstand that.

Otherwise you can clean it by hand washing.

How to use your heating pad from Terrible Twins

• The heating pad can be heated in the microwave for 2-3 minutes at 750 watts.
• It can also be heated in normal. oven for 10-15 minutes at 125°C.

• Pack the pad in a bag (preferably in fabric to avoid plastic) and put it in the freezer for an hour to make use of its cooling properties.

How to use your bamboo gap brush

• Wet the brush with cold water. You don't have to use toothpaste

• Plaque and food residues can be rinsed off the brush under running water

Washing machines and dishwashers:

• Put 200 g of powder in the drum of an empty washing machine or the bottom of an empty dishwasher.

• Start the appliance at 50-60 °C.

• When the water is heated, turn off the appliance for 30 minutes to let the citric acid work.

What can you use white vinegar for?

When factories dye yarn for textile production, they often create extra stock just in case - but much of this yarn ends up unused. Odds & Ends textiles are designed to fully utilize these remnants, creating endless, unexpected color combinations.

Collections & Colors
Odds & Ends collections are produced in batches. The factory gathers surplus materials and uses these colors to create a new design, which is then put into production. The precise design is just a starting point - during production, some of the remnants are used up and replaced with similar colors.

Therefore, the images you see are a guiding representation of how the textiles look, but there will be small variations within each batch.

Colors may vary
Since these textiles are produced in small batches from surplus materials, colors may vary. However, the general color palette is always maintained, so textiles within the same color scale can easily be combined. Washing and care instructions
All Odds & Ends textiles can be washed at 30°C on a cotton cycle with similar colors. To maintain color intensity, an organic detergent for colored washes is recommended.

To extend the life of the textiles, air drying is recommended, but terry products like soft towels - especially those with a velvet surface - can benefit from occasional tumble drying at medium heat to soften the fibers without the use of chemical softeners.

If you live in a hard water area, you can soften both your textiles and washing machine by adding citric acid or vinegar to the rinse cycle from time to time.

Loose threads
This product is woven with terry loops to ensure a soft and absorbent quality. Newly woven terry loops can be more prone to loose threads, so be careful with jewelry during the first few uses.

If a thread should come loose, never pull it! Carefully cut it off with sharp scissors—this will prevent further loose threads and does not affect the woven structure of the textiles. After the first few washes, the fibers will become more resistant to snags.

• Choose a 30 minute program with medium heat. Look at the kapok pillow and repeat until it is slightly damp.
• Let the kapok duvet dry in a warm place until the rest of the moisture is gone.
• Be careful not to dry too long in the dryer, as this can reduce the life of the fiber.

Washing cloth pads
