Gentle brushing with a bamboo handle
A good toothbrush should feel pleasant to use every day. The Hydrophil Premium toothbrush has soft bristles and a slightly curved brush head that follows the surface of your teeth and reaches the spots that are hard to get to.

The handle is made from Moso bamboo and finished with plant-based paint from AURO. The bristles are made from castor oil-based nylon instead of mineral oil, and they come in different lengths to follow your teeth better.

The toothbrush comes in two versions with the same item number: one with blue colour on the handle and one without. We send the version we have in stock.

Wooden Toothbrush with Natural Bristles

Bürstenhaus Redecker

BUR-10552

Are you looking for a real alternative to plastic products in the bathroom?
This wooden toothbrush stands out significantly from the market by being completely uncompromising: Here you get an untreated wooden handle combined with real natural hair, allowing you to completely avoid synthetic materials in your mouth.

Effective cleaning with natural bristles
The bleached and sterilized natural bristles are made of animal fibers, which is the most traditional and effective material for plastic-free toothbrushing. Just like in "the good old days". The fibers have a natural elasticity and durability that clean tooth enamel thoroughly without scratching, while the untreated beechwood handle provides a good and firm grip during brushing.

Application and care
Use the wooden toothbrush exactly like a conventional toothbrush along with your preferred toothpaste. Since the handle is made of pure, untreated wood, it is recommended to rinse the brush thoroughly after use and let it dry lying down or standing up in a dry place. Avoid leaving it in a damp toothbrush cup with water at the bottom, so the wood stays nice and fresh throughout its period of use.

Bamboo toothbrush with soft bristles - Soft

Bamboo toothbrush with soft bristles - Soft

Bamboovement

DIV-10863

A diamond-shaped head
The brush head is shaped like an elongated diamond instead of the usual rounded rectangle. The tip makes it easier to get behind the back molars and along the gumline - the places most people skip because the brush can't quite reach.

Soft - often the right choice

This model has soft bristles. It sounds like the cautious option, but for many, it is the right one: hard bristles combined with firm pressure wear down the enamel and cause the gums to recede over time. If you have sensitive tooth necks or notice that your toothbrushes quickly become frayed, soft is probably what you need.

Bamboo in the handle, nylon in the bristles

The handle is solid bamboo. The bristles are nylon made from castor oil instead of crude oil - it is still nylon, and it does not break down in nature. This is the reason why the head must be snapped off before the handle is discarded.

We state this so directly because many bamboo toothbrushes are sold as if the entire brush disappears on its own. It doesn't. The handle can, the bristles cannot. If you are looking for a completely natural toothbrush, you can find a toothbrush with natural bristles here.

How to take it apart
Snap the brush head off the handle - it snaps with a click at the joint. The head with the bristles is disposed of as general waste. The bamboo handle can be composted in a garden compost.

Check your local council's guidelines before putting the handle in your food waste: many Danish waste sorting schemes only take kitchen waste, and bamboo is not always included.

Bamboovement's tree planting

Bamboovement collaborates with Eden Reforestation Projects and the International Association of Human Values and states that they plant five trees per order.

Biodegradable kids toothbrush - Bunny/Koala

Jack n' Jill

JAC-01107-KK

Usage and Care
To ensure the best oral hygiene and take good care of your child's first teeth, we recommend following these instructions:

Brushing Technique

Apply a small amount of Jack N' Jill Natural Certified toothpaste to the brush. Brush teeth in small, circular motions using minimum pressure.

We recommend using the brush with Jack N' Jill's mild and fluoride-free natural toothpaste, which is safe if swallowed. See our range of kids' toothpaste right here.

Duration

Dentists recommend brushing for 2 minutes, twice a day after meals. Ensure all teeth are cleaned thoroughly on all sides.

Hygiene

Rinse the toothbrush thoroughly before and after use. It is important to let the bristles air dry afterwards. Always store the brush upright and away from the toilet area.

Sterilization
To keep the toothbrush extra clean and extend its lifespan, we recommend sterilizing it every 2 or 3 weeks. Immerse the toothbrush head in 10% hydrogen peroxide (available from pharmacies) for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water and allow to air dry.

NOTE: Due to the natural corn starch material, this brush cannot be sterilized in boiling water or a microwave.

Replacement

Replace the toothbrush every 6-8 weeks. Always remember to replace the toothbrush after an illness, as bacteria can remain on the bristles.

Disposal

When it's time for a new brush, break off the toothbrush head. The rest of the handle can be placed in your compost bin or organic waste, where it typically breaks down in about 90 days.

By choosing Jack N' Jill, you are supporting "1% for the Planet," which works to protect the environment and reduce the use of single-use plastics.
