Bokashi compost bin - Organko 1 - Grey/Green

SKA-75371

About Bokashi Organko 1

Bokashi Organko 1 is a smart solution for those who want to handle kitchen waste more efficiently. The container minimizes odors, keeps flies and insects away and saves you too many trips to the bin.

With the help of Bokashi bran, the food remains break down without rotting, which means that the nutrients are preserved – completely without unpleasant smell.

The container holds 16 liters and is suitable for an ordinary household, where it is typically filled up in about 30 days.

Bokashi Organko 1 is produced in Slovenia from recycled plastic and works best when it is kept at room temperature.

About bokashi bran

Bokashi Also sometimes called bran compost yeast, is a mixture of molasses (sugar and water) and natural, beneficial microorganisms (lactic acid bacteria, yeasts, photosynthetic organisms, actinomycetes and enzyme-active fungi), which initiate the fermentation process and prevent decay in the Bokashi Organko 2 composter.

Once the fermentation process is complete, the organic waste retains all essential nutrients (especially nitrogen) that otherwise would disappear by decay. As a result, the fermented organic waste is an excellent base for first-class compost.

The product contains

1 x Organko 1 bucket

1 x 1 kg Bokashi bran

1 x Drain sieve

1 x Inner piston

1 x Drain cup for fertilizer liquid

1 x Dosing shovel

About Bokashi Organko 2

Bokashi Organko 2 makes it easy to give your food scraps a new purpose. During the airtight fermentation, the kitchen waste is broken down and transformed into a nutrient-rich compost base and a liquid that can be used as fertilizer or for cleaning drains. An average family fills the bucket with approx. 30 days.

The bucket is made from 47% recycled polypropylene and has been developed to function optimally at room temperature. With its simple, modern design, it fits into most kitchens – and gives you a practical everyday life with less waste and more value in the leftovers.

Tea towel #45A - Odds & Ends - Wild Weave

Tea towel #45A - Odds & Ends - Wild Weave

Foekje Fleur

FOF-10647

Odds & Ends

Colorful home textiles – made from surplus materials from industry

When factories dye yarn for textile production, an extra stock is often made just in case – but much of this yarn ends up unused. Odds & Ends textiles are designed to make full use of these scraps and create endless, unexpected color combinations.

Collections & Colors

Odds & Ends collections are produced in batches. The factory collects surplus materials and uses these colors to create a new design, which is then put into production. The precise design is just the starting point – during production, some of the residual materials are used up and replaced with similar colors.

Therefore, the images you see are an indicative representation of how the textiles look, but there will be slight variations within each batch.

Colours may vary

As these textiles are produced in small batches from surplus materials, colors may vary. However, the general color palette is always preserved, so that textiles within the same color scale can be easily combined. The product you receive may be identical to or have slight variations compared to the images on this page. The duo set consists of éone textile in primarily cold tones and éone in primarily warm tones.

Washing and care instructions

All Odds & Ends textiles can be washed at 30°C in the washing machine's cotton program together with similar colours. To preserve the intensity of the colors, an organic detergent is recommended for colored washing.

To extend the life of the textiles, air drying is recommended, but terrycloth products such as soft towels – especially those with a velor surface – may benefit from an occasional tumble dryer on medium heat to soften the fibers without the use of chemical fabric softeners.

If you live in an area with chalky water, you can soften both your textiles and washing machine by adding citric acid or vinegar to the rinse cycle from time to time.

Loose Threads

This product is woven with terry loops to ensure a soft and absorbent quality. Newly woven terry loops can be more prone to loose threads, so be careful with jewelry when first worn.

If a thread should come loose, never pull it! Carefully cut it off with sharp scissors – this will prevent further loose threads and will not affect the woven structure of the textiles. After the first few washes, the fibers will become more resistant to snags.

The duo set consists of one textile in primarily cold tones and one in primarily warm tones.
