Cornstarch toothbrush

Many have already switched to bamboo toothbrushes, but not everyone knows that you can also make toothbrushes from corn. And that is exactly what these decorative bio toothbrushes are made of; NON-GMO corn.

With a toothbrush that is produced from corn, you get a compostable toothbrush.

When you have finished using the toothbrush (recommended after about 2 months), break off the head and throw it away for recycling in the plastic bin.

Throw the handle in the compost or bury it in the garden, then becomes dentil mold. The children think it's fun!

This package contains one toothbrush in the color mint and one toothbrush in the color white. The toothbrushes measure approx. 20cm.

The soft bristles are made of BPA-free nylon and all our colors have SOFT brush heads, which are the most gentle on teeth and gums.

How to use your Maize toothbrush

Use light pressure and brush in circular motions movements.

Replace the toothbrush every 6-8 weeks or earlier if it is worn out.

Replace the toothbrush after illness.

Rinse thoroughly before and after use.

How to use your heating pad from Terrible Twins

• The heating pad can be heated in the microwave for 2-3 minutes at 750 watts.
• It can also be heated in normal. oven for 10-15 minutes at 125°C.
• Always place the heating pad so that the fabric does not touch the sides of the oven/microwave.
• Pack the pad in a bag (preferably in fabric to avoid plastic) and put it in the freezer for an hour to make use of its cooling properties.

• Flax can be grown without the use of artificial irrigation and pesticides and it is biodegradable.
• Flax gives a much higher yield per hectares than e.g. cotton and the whole plant can be used for various purposes.
• Also sounds naturally antiseptic. This means that neither microbes, bacteria nor fungi can live in the material. It is also resistant to moths and carpet beetles.
• Linen fibers are very long, and therefore the textile is almost indestructible.
• It has a smooth and lint-free surface and will become more beautiful and softer and more delicious after every wash.
• Linen has fantastic heat-regulating properties so the fabric feels nice and warm in winter and fresh and cool in summer.

FOR SHAVING

For a smoother shave, apply a drop to wet skin and hair, then shave. For extra protection, the shaving oil can be combined with a shaving soap where the shaving foam is applied on top of the layer of shaving oil.

FOR DERMAPLANING

After cleansing skin and before dermaplaning, rub a small amount of shaving oil into the skin to increase glide and protection from the blade.

Store in a cool place and not in direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only. In case of irritation, discontinue use of the product.

Organic cocoa butter for DIY skin care

100 grams of organically refined cocoa butter.

Organic cocoa butter can be used in a myriad of skin care products - creams, lip balm, salves, soap and much more.

But it is quite naturally also quite delicious in chocolate.

Cocoa butter is a natural fat that is cold-pressed. cocoa beans. It therefore smells completely natural and lovely of cocoa.

Organic cocoa butter is a fantastic moisturizer for the skin.

It contains natural antioxidants that prevent rancidity.

Cocoa butter melts at approx. 40 degrees.

Heat in a water bath and do not heat more than absolutely necessary so that you retain the high nutritional value.

How to use your Leaf Shave

• Prepare your skin for shaving by washing with warm water and possibly light exfoliation. It makes the hairs softer and easier to shave.

• Shave with your Leaf Shave. Both skin and razor should be moist when you start.
• You don't need to put extra pressure on the Leaf razor, just let the weight of the razor do the work
• If you think the Leaf razor is too aggressive, you can remove the lower razor blade
• Continuously rinse your Leaf Shave under warm water.
• Notice if you need to shave areas and repeat if necessary.
• Shaving done!

Cleaning your Leaf razor

Open your Leaf Shave and rinse it thoroughly after each use. Use possibly an old toothbrush if there are places where dirt is stuck.

Make sure the leaves are cleaned and have a chance to dry up.

Store your Leaf Shave in a dry place.

If there is limescale on your Leaf Shave, you can soak it in 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water for approx. 10 minutes.

Scrub it if necessary. clean with an old toothbrush and a little mild dishwashing detergent

Do not leave the safety razor soaked for a long time.

How to change the blades on your Leaf Shave

Your Leaf Shave can be equipped with up to 3 leaves. The blades are Single-Edge blades and you can find them here

• When you want to change the blades, you start by unscrewing the screw on the head of the Leaf razor. You have to screw clockwise to open it.
• The loose screw opens the razor blades, which you can now access.
• Replace the razor blades one by one.
• Make sure the blades are in the correct position in each compartment.
• Take care when handling the razor blades. They are really sharp!
• Turn the screw back in place - counter-clockwise. (see video further down the page)

An eco-version eye shadow where the principle is to refill your box instead of using too many resources on packaging. It's our best offer for a healthier and more resource-saving alternative.

The eye shadow from ZAO is lovely in texture and available in the finest colours.

This is a refill eye shadow without additional packaging. ZAO's concept is to not use too many resources on packaging, so this eye shadow only comes as a refill version.

How to Use Your Organic Eye Shadow

• Apply your ZAO eye shadow with a good brush. We recommend a Shading brush, which you can find right here
• Apply your eye shadow over the entire eyelid
• Feel free to use circular movements to apply your eye shadow. It gives a more lasting result
• Use a light colour in the inner corner of the eye and a darker shade in the outer corner of the eyelid.

What Does Your ZAO Organic Eye Shadow Contain?

This organic eye shadow contains, among other things, bamboo powder. Bamboo powder contains a good deal of silica, which moisturises and regenerates your skin. It prevents your skin from starting to shine.

Additionally, this eye shadow also contains organic linseed oil, which is rich in omega 3 and 6 and nourishes and moisturises your skin.

This ZAO eye shadow contains 1.3 g.

The fact that only 12% of the ingredients in this ZAO product are organic is due to the eye shadow containing a lot of minerals. And they cannot be grown organically.

Moisturize the hair. Run the bar around the hair until it foams. Put the bar away and massage your hair and scalp. Wash hair until all shampoo is rinsed out. Use Kystnær conditioner bar if needed. The bar should dry out between uses. Kystnær shampoo bar can be used for approx. 30-40 hair washes.

Hair treatment:
Moisten the bar and run it through wet hair in the lengths and ends. Let sit 4-5 minutes. Wash the hair until all the hair conditioner has been rinsed out. The bar must dry out between uses, please place it on a loofah sponge. Does not tolerate direct sunlight.

Soap bar:
The soap can be used on the whole body, as a body soap, but is also ideal as a hand soap. You can use the bar of soap in a linen soap bag for exfoliation that leaves the skin soft and delicious.

Washing your wet bag

The bag can be washed in a washing machine at 60 degrees.

Avoid using a tumble dryer, as it wears down the waterproof coating a lot.

This starter kit is a good and cheap way to start using cloth pads.

A cloth pad is a super good way to save the climate from a whole lot of unnecessary disposable plastic, and it is a super soft and comfortable alternative for you.

The cloth pad allows your skin to breathe and feels fresh and natural against the skin.

The cloth napkins are made up of 4 absorbent layers of organic cotton flannel and a layer of PUL, which makes it leak-proof.

The cloth napkin has wings and closes with a snap button. Here there are two different setting options.

The cloth napkins are OEKO-TEX certified. It is not a 100% guarantee for a chemical-free product, so please wash them a few times before use just to be safe.
The fabric may fluff a little at first, but these are just loose fibers that disappear in the wash. However, they can be removed with a scraper if they do not.

Washing cloth pads

Wash your cloth pads a few times before use.

When using:

Rinse your cloth pads in cold water before washing them - possibly added a little salt.

The cloth bandages should ideally be soaked for approx. 24 hours to minimize the risk of stains.

You can also choose a cold rinse in the machine.

Then wash your cloth napkins at 60-90 degrees in the washing machine.

Preferably avoid a tumble dryer, as it wears a lot on the PUL layer.

If you have enough napkins, you can wash them all at the same time.

2 packets mini, 4 packets normal and 2 packets night are often enough for a period.
