You do not need to wash your Maize pillow before use. No harmful chemicals have been added in the manufacturing process.

But your Maize nursing pad can easily be washed. However, we recommend that you only do it when necessary, as washing wears out the product and the fiber.

So feel free to air your pillow regularly. Frosty weather is especially good for airing the duvet and pillow.

If the nursing pillow is to be washed, it can be washed at 60 degrees, but preferably lower, so that you protect the fine corn fiber and take a little extra care of the environment.

Make sure to run the wash at low revolutions - again to take good care of the fine corn fiber so that it does not tangle. However, should this happen, you can easily filter out the fibers again.
