Organic rosehip seed oil - 30 ml

Hedenhus

HED-80350

Cold-pressed organic rosehip seed oil from organic rosehip seeds.

Rosehip seed oil contains large amounts of essential fatty acids and is super good for dry and irritated skin.

You can also use it for burns, scars and stretch marks.

However, you should not use it for acne, as there are some concerns that it could worsen the condition.

Rosehip seed oil works really well in homemade makeup, but the oil is also widely used by massage therapists, as the oil has healing properties. Here, however, the oil should be used in a diluted version - approx. 10%.

The rosehip seed oil will stick a little on the skin if used undiluted.

Store cool and should not be exposed to sunlight.

INCI:

Rosa Canina Seed Extract

Content: 30 ml.

Kapok can do something very special. It insulates, regulates temperature and transports moisture away from the body, which is absolutely ideal for small children who often have difficulty regulating their body temperature.

Kapok is also recommended for allergy sufferers, as house dust mites cannot live in the fibre, due to a natural content of an antibacterial bitter substance.

This kapok roll-top mattress for Stokke baby bed measures 69x120 cm.

Maintenance of your kapok mattress

Kapok is a natural fiber with quite unique properties.

And they are definitely worth taking good care of.

As a general rule, you should only wash your kapok mattress if it is strictly necessary.

If the stains are minor, we recommend spot washing.

If it is necessary to wash your kapok mattress topper, do it like this:

How to wash your kapok mattress topper
  • Wash preferably at 40 degrees to protect the fibre. However, 60 degrees is possible if necessary.
  • Choose a short washing program, as the kapok cannot stand being wet for too long
  • Choose centrifugation at 1200 revolutions to get as much water as possible out of the kapok
  • Use a gentle detergent without enzymes or bleach. For example, Cocoon's soap berry or a fine detergent with or without probiotics
  • Do not use fabric softener
  • Dry the kapok roller mattress immediately after wash

How to dry your kapok mattress pad
  • The kapok mattress pad is dried in the dryer alone
  • Give yourself plenty of time. We recommend using dryer balls in wool to reduce drying time. They also ensure that the fibers are gently separated
  • Do not use tennis balls as they break the fiber
  • Choose a 30 minute program with medium heat. Look at the kapok mattress topper and repeat until it is slightly damp.
  • Let the kapok mattress to dry in a warm place until the rest of the moisture is gone.
  • Be careful not to dry too long in the dryer, as this can reduce the life of the fiber.

Kapok summer duvet - 140x200 cm

Kapok summer duvet - 140x200 cm

Cocoon Company

DUL-140200

Kapok summer duvet

Organic summer duvet in soft and temperature-regulating kapok.

Kapok summer duvet is approx. half as much filling as a regular kapok duvet and is therefore very suitable for a hot summer or for those who just feel extra warm at night. The half amount of filling also means that it is not as robust as the year-round duvet, understood in the sense that the filling will tangle more easily during use. It can create small cold bridges in the sewn areas of the duvet. So be careful to keep washing to an absolute minimum and instead hang duvets for airing.

Kapok is also called silk cotton. It is light and breathable and transports moisture away from the body.

Kapok is also recommended for allergy sufferers, as kapok contains an antibacterial bitter substance that house dust mites cannot live in.

The quilt is hand-filled with untreated organic kapok, covered with a spring of 100% organically certified cotton.

The quilt measures 140x200 cm.

The weighs approx. 1200 grams.

Be aware that kapok duvets may feel different from ordinary down duvets. It is slightly heavier than down and perhaps a little more like a cotton blanket.

Kapok mattress for Babybay bed - 41x81 cm

Cocoon Company

MAT-041081

Kapok mattress from Cocoon Company

A kapok mattress is a natural luxury product in a special class.

Kapok is a natural fiber that grows wild in the tropical rainforests.

The kapok fiber has some very special properties - it insulates, regulates temperature and transports moisture away from the body. These are quite fantastic properties in a sleeping environment.

Kapok can be used by allergy sufferers, as the fiber contains an antibacterial bitter substance that house dust mites cannot live in.

A kapok mattress is firm as recommended by experts for babies and children.

Kapok mattresses do not contain formaldehyde, flame retardants or fluorine substances, which unfortunately most other conventional mattresses do.

And since the mattress cannot washed before use, then a natural and organic alternative is really worth a lot.

This kapok mattress for Babybay bed measures 41x81. The kapok mattress is hand-filled with untreated organic kapok, covered with a spring of 100% organically certified cotton.
As it is hand-filled, there may be some variation in the measurements.

Maintenance of your kapok mattress

It is a good idea to give your kapok mattress a little air from time to time.

You do this by placing it on its side once in a while between.

If you have a bed with a slatted base without air flow, you must pay particular attention to airing your mattress.

Because the slatted base will not be able to transport moisture and heat away from the mattress and in the worst case this can result in fungal spores at the bottom of your mattress.

The mattress is hand-upholstered with loose natural fibres, and therefore the mattress must be maintained once in a while as needed, where the mattress is put on high edge and massages/presses the fiber from the edge towards the middle, where the mattress is most stressed during use. Otherwise, the mattress can form a hole where the kapok fiber is pressed the most.

Detergent with lanolin for wool, silk and fur - 500 ml.

Ulrich Natürlich

ULN-03037

Liquid detergent for wool, silk and fur.

Contains 500 ml.

For organic washing of delicate textiles such as wool, silk and fur. The detergent contains lanolin, which refreshes the clothes and gives, especially woolen clothes, good water-repellent properties back.

The detergent contains no colour, fragrance, preservatives, optical white or petrochemical substances. The detergent also does not contain phosphate, which is very harmful to the environment. If, like me, you live in the countryside without connection to a municipal sewage treatment plant, then phosphate-free products are a good and conscious alternative.

500 ml. delicate detergent is sufficient for approx. 25 washes. The detergent is highly concentrated, so doses approx. 20 ml. per wash in a 4.5 kg machine.

The capsule contains 30 ml. Use it if necessary. as dosage and throw it into the machine.

Baby wool pillow - flat - 40x45 cm

Cocoon Company

WPB-040045

Wool pillow from Cocoon

A wool pillow from Cocoon Company is one of the softest things you can imagine.

The wool pillow is made of organic merino wool and organic GOTS certified cotton

This pillow measures 40x45 cm.

A wool pillow is a soft and temperature-regulating choice. The wool's content of lanolin enables it to absorb moisture from the body - without the pillow becoming damp in itself.

It is also the lanolin that makes the wool pillow antibacterial and ensures that house dust mites cannot live in it.

Wool pillows from Cocoon Company are produced in Europe. And the wool itself comes from organic merino sheep from South America.

South America is a super good climate for sheep. In that climate, the sheep are not affected by parasites and flies, which makes it completely unnecessary to spray them or carry out the cruel mulesing, as the sheep generally just thrive.

Maintenance of your wool pillow from Cocoon Company

A wool pillow should not be washed. The lanolin in the wool is important for the pillow's temperature-regulating function - and the lanolin is quietly washed out of the pillow when it is washed.

On the other hand, it is a very good idea to air the pillow regularly. It is good for the humidity in the pillow and for the lightness. If you can air it in freezing weather, it is the absolute best thing you can do.

If an accident has occurred, however, we recommend that you spot wash the pillow.

Alternatively, you can of course also send it to be cleaned if a more thorough cleaning of the pillow is necessary.

The wool pillow must never be tumbled dry, but must instead be left to dry.

In that climate, the sheep are not affected by parasites and flies, which makes it completely unnecessary to spray them or perform the cruel mulesing, as the sheep generally just thrive.

Maintenance of your wool pillow from Cocoon Company

A wool pillow should not be washed. The lanolin in the wool is because the lanolin in the wool is important for the pillow's temperature-regulating function - and the lanolin is washed quietly. out of the pillow when it is washed.

On the other hand, it is a super good idea to air the pillow regularly.

Kapok mattress for Next2me bed - 50x83 cm

Cocoon Company

MAT-050083

Kapok mattress from Cocoon Company

This kapok mattress fits a Next2me bed measuring 50x83 cm. The kapok mattress is hand-filled with untreated organic kapok, covered with a spring of 100% organically certified cotton.
Since it is hand-filled, there may be some variation in the measurements.

A kapok mattress is a natural luxury product in a special class.

Kapok is a natural fiber that grows wild in the tropical rainforests.

The kapok fiber has some very special properties - it insulates, regulates temperature and transports moisture away from the body. These are quite fantastic properties in a sleeping environment - especially for small children who may have difficulty getting rid of the heat at night.

A kapok mattress is firm as recommended by experts for babies and children.

Kapok can also be used by allergy sufferers, as the fiber contains an antibacterial bitter substance that house dust mites cannot live in.

Kapok mattresses do not contain mold, flame retardants or fluorine substances, as they unfortunately most other conventional mattresses do.

And since the mattress cannot be washed before use, a natural and ecological alternative is really worth a lot.

Maintenance of your kapok mattress

It is a good idea to give your kapok mattress a little air from time to time.

You do this by placing it on its side once in a while.

If you have a bed with a slab base without air flow, you must pay particular attention to to air out your mattress.

Because the slab base will not be able to transport moisture and heat away from the mattress and in the worst case this can result in fungal spores at the bottom of your mattress.

The mattress is hand-stuffed with loose natural fibres, and therefore the mattress must be maintained once in a while as needed, where you put the mattress on its side and massage/press the fiber from the edge and towards the middle, where the mattress is under the most stress use. Otherwise, the mattress can form a hole where the kapok fiber is pressed the most.

Kapok roll mattress for Next2me bed - 50x83 cm

Cocoon Company

PAD-050083

A roll-top mattress in organic kapok is soft and incredibly comfortable to lie on.

The roll-top mattress can either be used on top of a kapok mattress, which can be relatively hard.

Or you can also just buy an organic kapok roll-top mattress to lie on top of your current mattress. It is a simple way to take advantage of kapok's special properties.

Kapok roll mattresses insulate, regulate temperature and transport moisture away from the body. These are properties that are super ideal for small children who may have difficulty regulating their body temperature.

This mattress topper fits a Next2me bed measuring 50x83 cm. The mattress topper is hand-filled with untreated organic kapok, covered with a spring of 100% organic certified cotton.
The mattress topper is hand-sewn, so please be aware that there may be variations in the goal.

Kapok is also recommended for allergy sufferers, as house dust mites cannot live in the fibre, due to a natural content of an antibacterial bitter substance.

Maintenance of your kapok mattress

Kapok is a natural fiber with quite unique properties.

And they are definitely worth taking good care of.

As a general rule, you should only wash your kapok mattress if strictly necessary.

If the stains are minor, we recommend spot washing.

If necessary to wash your kapok mattress topper, do it like this:

Kapok duvet - 240x220 cm

Kapok duvet - 240x220 cm

Cocoon Company

DUV-240220

Kapok duvet - double duvet

Organic double duvet with extra length and extra width in soft and temperature-regulating kapok.

Kapok - also called silk cotton because of its ultra-soft fibres. Kapok is a light and breathable material that transports moisture away from the body. The temperature-regulating effect makes it suitable all year round. The duvet is very suitable if you find it difficult to keep warm at night - or find it difficult to get rid of the heat. And under this model, two people can sleep.

Kapok is also recommended for allergy sufferers, as the kapok fiber contains an antibacterial substance that house dust mites cannot live in.

The duvet is filled with untreated organic kapok, with a spring of 100% organically certified cotton.

The duvet measures 240x220 cm.

Please note that kapok duvets feel different from ordinary down duvets. It is a little heavier and resembles a cotton blanket at first. Primarily because the fiber shrinks over time, so that it is stopped well, so that it does not become too flat during use.

Maintenance of your kapok duvet

Kapok is a natural fiber with quite unique properties.

And they are definitely worth taking good care of.

As a general rule, you should only wash your kapok duvet if it is strictly necessary.
The kapok fibers can get damaged by washing and clump together, so we do not recommend washing, unless the duvet cannot be used without it.
For normal use, it is sufficient to simply air the duvet.

If the stains are smaller, we recommend spot washing.

But if it is necessary to wash your kapok duvet, do it like this:

How to wash your kapok duvet
  • Wash with 40 degrees to protect the fiber.
For example Cocoon's soap berry or a delicate detergent with or without probiotics
  • Do not use fabric softener
  • Dry the kapok duvet immediately after washing

How to dry your kapok duvet
  • Kapok duvets are dried alone in the dryer
  • Give yourself plenty of time. We recommend using dryer balls in wool to reduce drying time. They also ensure that the fibers are gently separated
  • Do not use tennis balls as they break the fiber
  • Choose a 30 minute program with medium heat. Look at the kapok pillow and repeat until it is slightly damp.
  • Let the kapok duvet dry in a warm place until the rest of the moisture is gone.
  • Be careful not to dry too long in the dryer, as this can reduce the life of the fiber.

Dryer balls in wool - 6 pcs

Cocoon Company

WDB-003003

Why should you use wool dryer balls?

Wool dryer balls can reduce the drying time in a tumble dryer by 25%

They can do this because the wool absorbs the moisture from the clothes and ensures that the laundry is separated in the machine.

The dryer balls thus save both the environment and your personal finances by reducing your energy consumption for drying.

The wool balls do the laundry soft and delicious and makes fabric softener completely unnecessary.

The dryer balls are produced in Nepal.

Here they are part of a social economic project where local farmers supply wool and labor for a fair wage and good working conditions.

The wool is not certified organic, as it comes from free-ranging animals.

How are dryer balls used in wool?

Minimum place 4-6 dryer balls in the dryer together with your wet clothes, the dryer balls will do the job for you.

The dryer balls absorb moisture and distribute the clothes well in the dryer. This means that the clothes dry faster and that the machine therefore stops earlier (provided that you use a program that stops when the clothes are dry)

Be aware that the wool balls work best in a tumble dryer that is not completely full. The dryer balls should have room to move in order to function optimally.

The dryer balls will be damp (inside) after use, so please give them the opportunity to dry up before you pack them away.

This package contains 6 wool balls. 3 of the balls are white - and are for light laundry and 3 balls are dark - you can use them for your dark clothes.

You can also just put all the balls in the dryer together:-)

The dryer balls can handle between 1000 and 1500 times in the dryer, so they will last for many years:-)

Detergent 5 liters - colour

Ulrich Natürlich

ULN-01774

Liquid detergent with descaling in a 5-litre can from Ulrich Natürlich.

This detergent is for colored washing.

The detergent can be used at all washing temperatures.

The liquid detergent contains washing active substances from coconut oil, vegetable soaps and lactic acid. The lactic acid removes limescale and gives the detergent a skin-friendly pH value.

The detergent contains no colour, fragrance, preservatives, optical white or petrochemical substances. Nor the substance phosphate, which is harmful to the environment.

If, like me, you live in the countryside without connection to a municipal sewage treatment plant, then phosphate-free products are the absolute most conscious alternative.

1 liter of detergent is enough for approx. 33 washing. The detergent is highly concentrated, so do not dose more than 30 ml. per wash with a 4.5 kg machine.

If you live in an area with a very high level of lime in the water, you can advantageously add extra lactic acid to your wash. For example this one.

All the cloth pads are in the black version, which is the absolute most practical in terms of the risk of stains:-)

This starter kit is a good and cheap way to start using cloth pads.

A cloth pad is a super good way to save the climate from a whole lot of unnecessary disposable plastic, and it is a super soft and comfortable alternative for you.

The cloth pad allows your skin to breathe and feels fresh and natural against the skin.

The cloth napkins are made up of 4 absorbent layers of organic cotton flannel and a layer of PUL, which makes it leak-proof.

The cloth napkin has wings and closes with a snap button. Here there are two different setting options.

The cloth napkins are OEKO-TEX certified. It is not a 100% guarantee for a chemical-free product, so please wash them a few times before use just to be safe.
The fabric may fluff a little at first, but these are just loose fibers that disappear in the wash. However, they can be removed with a scraper if they do not.

Washing cloth pads

Wash your cloth pads a few times before use.

When using:

Rinse your cloth pads in cold water before washing them - possibly added a little salt.

The cloth bandages should ideally be soaked for approx. 24 hours to minimize the risk of stains.

You can also choose a cold rinse in the machine.

Then wash your cloth napkins at 60-90 degrees in the washing machine.

Preferably avoid a tumble dryer, as it wears out the PUL layer a lot.

If you have enough napkins, you can wash them all at the same time.

2 packets mini, 4 packets normal and 2 packets night are often enough for a period.

Mühle R89 DE safety razor - Closed Comb - Rosegold

Mühle

MUH-12640

This Mühle safety razor is completely simple and stylish in design and the handle is in the color Rosegold in chrome-plated brass.

The model is called R89 and is an absolute bestseller in the entire Mühle's beautiful range.

A Safety Razor is for you who want a good shave - and at the same time save the environment from unnecessary disposable plastic.

This safety razor ensures you a close shave without red and irritated skin.

To protect the blade and keep it sharp, it is a really good idea to either store your Safety Razor in a holder or to use a blade protector.

How to use a Safety Razor

If you haven't tried a safety razor - or a DE scraper like this one, then you probably just have to get used to using it. And your skin probably needs it too.

But follow this procedure - and you're pretty much on your way:

  • Moisten skin and beard/hair with warm water
  • Use shaving foam or a shaving brush and lather it up well - possibly. with a brush
  • Check your scraper and make sure the scraper head and handle are not loose. However, only tighten the screw if it is loose. Then you are sure that the blade is at the right angle
  • Start your shave and hold the scraper at a 30 degree angle to the skin
  • Let the scraper slide over the skin with light pressure
  • Shave only in the direction of the hairs - not against the hairs
  • Tighten the skin in places where it can be difficult to get a flat surface - e.g. on the neck

For this scraper you can use all classic razor blades. For example these from Mühle.

Can a Safety Razor also be used by women?
The short answer is: YES!

The Safety Razor also works well for shaving the body.

Even though Mühle's package insert states that it should only be used on the face. But Mühle's products are sold all over the world, so they have probably chosen to be extra careful with their recommendations for that reason.

As long as you are careful with the shave, just as you would be if it were on the face, then you can easily use it on the body too.
