Maintenance of your kapok car seat insert

The insert can be washed in a washing machine if necessary.

• Wash at 40 degrees to protect the fibre. However, 60 degrees is possible if necessary.
• Choose a short washing program, as the kapok cannot stand being wet for too long
• Choose spinning at 1200 revolutions to get as much water as possible out of the kapok
• Use a gentle detergent without enzymes or bleach. For example, Cocoon's soap berry or a delicate detergent with or without probiotics
• Do not use fabric softener
• Dry the kapok product immediately after wash

• The kapok product is dried in the tumble dryer alone
• Give yourself plenty of time. We recommend using dryer balls in wool to reduce drying time. They also ensure that the fibers are gently separated
• Do not use tennis balls as they break the fiber
• Choose a 30 minute program with medium heat. Look at the kapok product and repeat until it is slightly damp
• Let the kapok product dry in a warm place until the rest of the moisture is gone.
• Be careful not to dry too long in the dryer, as it can reduce the life of the fiber.

This stainless steel thermal drinking bottle is from Danish AYA&IDA.

The color is Soft Rose.

The powder-coated color gives a slightly rougher look and a much more durable color.

The drinking bottle has a thermo effect and can keep your drinks cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 hours.

Handkerchiefs made of recycled and chemical-free fabric

It has long been on our minds to be able to offer you the very best handkerchiefs.

And in every imaginable way, it makes good and healthy sense when you empty a huge stock of discarded fabric from a steam cleaner and transform the material into a handkerchief.

That is exactly what Danish Pargaard has done. And that's why we can now offer you this 3-layer fabric mask, which you can use in the protection against Corona infection with a clear conscience.

The fiber composition in the discarded fabric has previously been tablecloths or bed linen, and the vast majority is cotton, but it can also be a cotton/polyester mixture.

The fabric has of course been washed thoroughly under Swan-labelled conditions.

This simple and discreet Pargaard mask is pink on one side and white on the other side, so you can choose which color should be visible.

The elastic is very soft and makes the mask comfortable to wear for a long time.

The fit can be slightly adjusted by twisting the elastics half a turn or giving them a knot.

The mask is not sewn with pleats, and therefore cannot, in terms of fit, be compared to disposable masks, where the fit can also be can be adjusted by pulling out the folds.

The mask can be washed at 60 degrees. Should be washed in a washing bag.

The fabric is completely free of synthetic material - it has previously been tablecloths or bedding etc. Eq. and it has been washed under Swan-labelled conditions. It has been washed again and again and again.

So even if it is not organic cotton, we can almost guarantee that everything that could have been from boring chemistry is now completely and utterly gone.

And then it just makes the best sense to upcycle a discarded product instead of producing a new one. We think it's a win win - both for you and for nature. But hopefully not for Corona ;-)

This wet bed sheet is quite unique.

It is both breathable and naturally degradable.

"Ordinary" wet bed sheets have a plastic membrane. This means that the body cannot breathe on top of it.

But this wet lying sheet is breathable and completely tight.

The membrane is made of TPU. It cannot be compared with PU plastic. It is both breathable, reusable and naturally degradable.

This wet bed sheet fits a Leander cot measuring 66 x 114 cm.

How do you use Cocoon's wet bed sheet?

This provides the best lying comfort.

Cotton rondels with bamboo from Pandoo

The bamboo roundels measure 8 cm. in diameter and is a perfect alternative to cotton pads. They can be washed and used again and again.

Bamboo pads consist of 3 layers of 80% bamboo viscose and 20% cotton.

These bamboo pads are particularly good for makeup and facial cleansing. They are silky soft and leave no bamboo fibers on the skin.

They are used with lukewarm water and, if necessary, a little facial cleanser or makeup remover can be added as needed.

These Pandoo pads actually replace 30 packs of traditional cotton pads. And that is a good saving both for your wallet and for our environment.

Washing your cotton pads

The supplier recommends washing at 40 degrees and no tumble drying.

Some make-up can leave stains on the rondels, so make sure you use a good (and conscious) stain remover for them.

Alternatively, you can considerblack rondellers if you want to avoid possible stains.

The cotton rondellers are OEKO-TEX certified. It is not a guarantee of a 100% chemical-free product, so please wash them a few times before use just to be safe.

Bamboo and cotton do not require a lot of water during cultivation, therefore they are resource-saving.

Before using the pillows, Pandoo recommends that you start by machine washing them or give them a quick spin in a pot, as cotton often needs to be activated with water in order to absorb.

How to refresh your food cloth

There are two ways you can give your food cloth a new go wax on; In the oven or with the iron.

Refreshing in the oven:

• Switch the oven to 120 degrees.
• Use a deep baking tray and place the food cloth on a piece of baking paper on the tray.
• Melt the block of wax over a water bath.
• Spread the mixture on the food cloth with an old brush or a silicone spatula. A relatively hard spatula works best.
• Now put the baking tray with the "waxed substance" in the oven. The wax will spread on the fabric if there are areas that have not been saturated.
• After just a few minutes, take the plate out and air the food cloth back and forth. The cooling is fast.
• NOTE! The wax is hot, so be careful and wear gloves.

Refresh with an iron:

• Cover your ironing board with an old piece of fabric (important!)
• Place the tea towel on a piece of parchment paper.
• Melt the wax over a water bath.
• Spread the mixture on the tea towel with an old brush or a block silicone spatula. A relatively hard spatula works best.
• Place the fabric with the wax mixture on the fabric-covered ironing board and also place a piece of baking paper on top of the cloth with the wax mixture.
• Iron on top of the baking paper and be careful not to get wax on the iron.
• When you are satisfied, lift the food cloth from the baking paper and fan it back and forth. The cooling is fast.
• NOTE! The wax is hot, so be careful and wear gloves.

Tips and good advice:

Use old and old utensils, as the wax mixture can be difficult to get off.

If wax gets on the baking sheet, put it back in the oven (without baking paper and fabric) and when the wax has melted again, remove it with a piece of paper towel. Then wash the plate with soap and water.

24Bottles makes sure to compensate for the Co2 used in connection with the production of the drinking bottle by planting trees that, on the contrary, absorb Co2. The trees are currently planted in Italy, Mexico and Nepal.

The drinking can has a screw lid made of plastic and a wide opening, which makes it easy to put ice cubes, frozen fruit and other things in the drinking bottle.

The bottles and cups from 24Bottles with the many colorful patterns may get normal wear or patina over time, after e.g. to have been in the bag. However, this does not affect the quality at all, even if there are definite dents.

If you want the paintwork to be scratch-free, we recommend finding a color you like from those that have a Stone, Steel or Hammertone Finish. They won't get scratched.

For the 24Bottles Urban bottles, you can also choose to use a thermo cover, which in addition to holding cold and heat will also protect against scratches.
