Caring for the toothbrush
Rinse the toothbrush thoroughly after use and let it dry lying down or standing in a dry place. Avoid leaving it in a cup with water at the bottom, as wood and natural bristles do best when they can dry completely between uses.

The toothbrush is made by Bürstenhaus Redecker in Germany, which has been making brushes from wood and natural bristles since 1935.

How to use it
Place the nut in the part of the cracker that suits its size and gently squeeze the handles until the shell gives way. Small nuts crack best close to the hinge, larger ones further out.

Care
Wipe the nutcracker with a damp cloth after use. It should not go in the dishwasher, as this can damage both the aluminium and the wood.

Cleaning
