Tip: The tight-fitting lid can create a vacuum when the meal box is completely closed. This may make the lid feel difficult to remove – but the trick lies in one corner of the lid, where the silicone part extends further onto the lid. Once the side straps are loosened, fold this corner up, and air will enter under the lid, releasing the vacuum. Do NOT pull on the straps to loosen the lid.

Similarly, when putting the lid on, pressure can build up inside the box, which may prevent the lid from sealing properly. Instead, fold the aforementioned corner up and press the lid down onto the container. Finally, press the corner with the silicone part down firmly. Check that the lid is tightly sealed to the container.

The colder the food is when filled, the faster it will lose its temperature.
