Intimate care

Organic intimate care products
The opportunity to switch from disposable products to a sustainable alternative is gradually spreading to the vast majority of aspects of our daily lives, and of course we celebrate that here at us.  That is why we also have a wide range of products in the intimate care category, where you can find organic and organic products such as condoms, cloth pads and disposable pads and tampons.

Menstrual panties - Flow 3 - Moderate+ flow - Grey

Flow Intimates

flow3-grey

Moderate flow

Flow 3 is designed to absorb moderate+ menstruation. But have you ever thought about how much you actually bleed?

Few people have a complete grasp of it (unless you're used to using a menstrual cup), as even a small amount of blood can seem like a lot when it hits the toilet. With us, moderate flow means approximately the same as 2-3 regular tampons, corresponding to around 10-15 ml of blood.

The panties have a built-in three-layer technology that directs blood away from the skin, absorbs it and protects you from seepage. All in an elegant design that makes it possible to forget you're bleeding at all – this is how many in Flow’s community describe their experience.

Flow 3 is the model with the longest diaper - the length of the absorbent layers is 37 cm on a size small, and they are also 25% thicker.

Materials

Outer:
95% organic cotton - 5% elastane

Technical layers:
Top layer: 100% polyester
Middle layer: 100% polyester
Membrane: 100% polyamide

Washing instructions

Use your panties as normal, rinse them in cold water after use, then wash them at 30 or 40 degrees together with your other laundry.

Modern detergents are very efficient, so you can easily get the panties clean at low temperatures.

Tumble dryers are not recommended – it wears down the absorbent layer and shortens the life of the panties, while also putting an unnecessary burden on the environment.

Menstrual panties - Flow 4 - Heavy flow - Black

Flow Intimates

flow4-black

Heavy flow

The Flow 4 menstrual panty is made for heavy flow and provides extra security and comfort, regardless of whether you use it at night, postpartum or on days when you need both more coverage and high absorbency. At the same time, the material is soft and comfortable against the skin.

Flow 4 is the most absorbent menstrual panty, but do you really know how much you bleed?

Few people have a complete grasp of it (unless you are used to using a menstrual cup), as even a small amount of blood can seem like a lot when it hits the toilet. With us, moderate flow means approximately the same as 1-2 ordinary tampons, corresponding to around 15-20 ml of blood.

If you bleed very heavily, i.e. e.g. need to change pads every/every two hours, then we would recommend that you combine your menstrual panties with a disc or menstruationskop.

The panties have a built-in three-layer technology that directs blood away from the skin, absorbs it and protects you from seepage. All in an elegant design that makes it possible to forget you're bleeding at all – this is how many in Flow’s community describe their experience.

Cloth pads - Panty inserts - Flower

Women's Place

WOP-94184

A woman uses around 3500–3700 disposable pads and tampons over a 10-year period. With cloth pads that have a lifespan of approximately 10 years, you can make do with only 15–20 pads in the same period - depending on use, washing and bleeding.

You also get rid of bleaches, glues and perfumes, which many find cause itching, irritation and rashes. Cloth pads offer a clean, soft and durable solution for your period.

Sizes and quantities

Cloth pads from Women's Place are available in four sizes:

  • 20 cm (panty liners)
  • 25 cm (day pads)
  • 30 cm (night pads)
  • 40 cm (postpartum pads or longer night pads)

Most women use approximately 3–6 panty liners, 9–12 day pads and 3–6 night pads during a menstrual period, depending on how often they wash. If you are unsure, you can start with our starter pack, which contains three different sizes.

Material and construction

  • 100% organic GOTS-certified cotton
  • 4 layers of absorbent cotton
  • 1 layer of PUL-coated fabric (waterproof)

This makes the pads as dense and absorbent as disposable pads, but without unnecessary chemicals.

Handling and use

  1. Direction: The front has two vertical seams; the back is marked with “Women’s Place”. Place the back side down against the briefs, fold the wings under and close with buttons at the back. The top cotton layers should face the skin, while the PUL-coated layer should face down.

  2. After use: Rinse off the worst blood in cold water under the shower if possible— it preserves the life of the bandage best. If you do not rinse immediately, you can put the bandage in a wetbag (waterproof and odorproof bag) until washing. A strong odor does not form when stored in a wetbag.

Washing cloth napkins

  1. Pre-wash (cold rinse): If you have not already rinsed the napkins one at a time, you can put them directly in the washing machine on a cold rinse program or hand wash them under the shower.

  2. Main wash (60 °C): Wash the bandages together with other household laundry at 60 °C.

    • Avoid bleaches and fabric softeners – these can damage both cotton and waterproof PUL.

  3. Drying: Hang the bandages to air dry. Do not use a tumble dryer, as the heat can destroy the waterproof coating.

  4. When the pads are completely dry, they are ready for reuse.
