WayCap reusable silicone lid for Vertuoline

And this could perhaps be an idea to do something about the disposable packaging in your home?
In any case, a huge number of disposable coffee capsules are used every single day.
But luckily there is an alternative.
And if you have a Nespresso Vertuoline machine, with this lid you can reuse the capsules as many times as you want instead of buying expensive disposable capsules.
Fill them with your favorite coffee and use the lid and capsule again and again.
It saves both the environment for a whole lot of disposable packaging and your finances for the many expensive capsules.
This reusable silicone lid fits Vertuoline machines.
The package contains 1 reusable lid in silicone and 1 instruction book.
The lid is made of BPA and BPS-free food-approved silicone. They are made in Italy from the highest quality silicone.
Please note that the package only contains a lid and not the capsule. So the idea is that you have to reuse the capsule you already have for Vertuoline, remove the aluminum foil at the top and put the WayCap lid on instead. So it is the foil that the lid replaces.
In this way, you can use the capsules you have many more times than what was probably the intention.
How to use the reusable silicone lid
- Remove the aluminum foil from the capsule. Use possibly a knife to get it all off.
- Empty the capsule and wash it thoroughly at the same time as the lid
- When you are sure that the capsule and lid are dry, you can fill the capsule with coffee
- Pour approx. a teaspoon of coffee into the capsule. Make sure not to overfill it.
- There mustn't be too much coffee in the capsule, nor should there be coffee on the sides of the capsule when you put it in the machine.
- Insert the capsule into the machine and brew as usual.
How to clean your reusable silicone lids
When you have finished brewing coffee, you can empty the coffee capsule coffee beans with the back of a teaspoon. Put the coffee beans in your compost bin, use them as a scrub or throw them in the residual waste.
When the coffee capsule is empty, you can simply rinse it and the lid under the tap. Use possibly this soft dish brush for the purpose.
It is plenty for everyday use.
The lid can also withstand being put in the dishwasher if necessary.
