Eulenspiegel brush set
Eulenspiegel's face paint brushes are particularly durable and flexible because they are not of animal origin, but are made of pure synthetic fiber. As high-quality makeup brushes, they are the first choice for many face painters and makeup artists across Europe.
Pro tips from Eulenspiegel
ATTENTION: Please do not try to separate the brush hairs with your fingers; the water-soluble mastic disappears completely on its own the first time you immerse them in water.

Care instructions
First wash: To bring out the wool’s natural bloom, we recommend soaking your finished piece for at least 10 minutes in water at a maximum of 30°C. Then dry as described below.
Subsequent washes: We recommend hand washing, which is also gentle on the unique dyeing. Use only a small amount of enzyme-free wool detergent
Drying
Dry flat, e.g. on a towel, and shape your knitted/crocheted piece to the correct measurements.
Wool can stretch quite a bit during washing, but it will contract and regain the desired loft when dried flat and blocked to measurements.
Please note that colour variations may occur from screen to screen; we therefore cannot guarantee that the colour is identical to what you see on your display.

Colours that spark creativity
Stockmar is world-renowned for their uncompromising approach to colour and materials. These opaque colours (gouache-style) are created to be versatile; you can use them for everything from solid, opaque painting to fine, transparent watercolour techniques.
The 12 colours are easy to blend, giving both children and adults endless opportunities to experiment with colour theory and unique shades.
What are opaque colours?
Opaque colours are water-based paints with an unusually high concentration of pigments. Unlike standard watercolours, opaque colours contain natural binders that make them non-transparent.
This means the paint forms a saturated layer on the paper, resulting in a matte, velvety finish with incredible depth.
Opaque colours vs. Watercolours
The main difference lies in the light and the layering. In watercolour painting, you rely on the white of the paper to create light, and you always work from light to dark because the paint is transparent.
With opaque colours, you can paint "in reverse" – applying light colours over dark ones. Using the included tube of opaque white, you can mix your own pastel shades and create effects that are impossible with traditional watercolours. This makes opaque colours far more versatile for both precise illustrations and broad, solid colour planes.
Thoughtful details and accessories
This is not just an ordinary watercolour box. Stockmar has truly focused on the details in this set:
Removable mixing palette
Instead of mixing colours in the lid, a separate palette is included. This makes it easier to keep your workspace clean, and the palette is much easier to wash after use.
Professional brush
The set includes a high-quality "cat’s tongue" brush with synthetic Ponex hair, made by the traditional German brush manufacturer Zahn. It is ideal for both broad strokes and fine details.
Replaceable colour wells
The individual colours are housed in small wells that can easily be removed or replaced once a colour is finished.
Tip: Try combining the opaque colours with Stockmar beeswax crayons. Paint over the crayon marks and watch how the water-repellent wax creates beautiful effects (wax-resist technique).
