Organic merino wool yarn from Krea Deluxe

Thick GOTS-certified organic merino wool yarn from Krea Deluxe. Wool 2 wool yarn is super soft and is particularly suitable for sweaters, scarves, shawls, baby and children's clothes, blankets, pillows etc. This new version of Organic wool 2 has been developed to fluff up to 80% less, and Krea Deluxe has thus succeeded in producing a soft and organic wool yarn WITHOUT adding unnecessary chemistry such as e.g. superwash and other chemicals.

Use it alone or together with Silk Mohair yarn from Krea Deluxe.

The wool originates from South America and is produced with a focus on resource awareness and animal welfare, and is of course free from interventions such as e.g. mulesing. The woolen yarn is spun, dyed and finished at a small spinning mill in Portugal, where Krea Deluxe's unique tone-on-tone colors are carefully developed in collaboration with the local colorist. However, Krea Deluxe's uncompromising commitment to GOTS-certified dyeing slightly limits their ability to offer a greater range of colors, as stronger and more vibrant colors require chemical agents and processes that cannot be GOTS-certified. They at Krea Deluxe have turned that to their strength, and with GOTS-certified colors have created beautiful, douchey and more coordinated colors in a unique color scale.

Washing instructions

First wash: To get the right fullness in the wool, we recommend soaking your finished Wool 1 product for a minimum of 10 minutes in a maximum of 30 degrees warm water. Then dry it flat on, for example, a towel and push your knitted/crocheted work into place in the correct measurement. The wool can stretch a bit in the wash, but contracts and gives the right fullness when it is dried flat and blocked according to measurements.

Subsequent washes: Hand wash is recommended, as washing machines' wool programs are very different.
If you have a good washing machine with a gentle wool program, you can wash your Wool 1 product in the machine.

Remember:

• Use only a small amount wool detergent without enzymes.
• Use washing bag, max 30 degrees and 800 revolutions.

Care instructions
First wash: To bring out the wool’s natural bloom, we recommend soaking your finished piece for at least 10 minutes in water at a maximum of 30°C. Then dry as described below.

Subsequent washes: We recommend hand washing, which is also gentle on the unique dyeing. Use only a small amount of enzyme-free wool detergent

Drying
Dry flat, e.g. on a towel, and shape your knitted/crocheted piece to the correct measurements.

Wool can stretch quite a bit during washing, but it will contract and regain the desired loft when dried flat and blocked to measurements.

Please note that colour variations may occur from screen to screen; we therefore cannot guarantee that the colour is identical to what you see on your display.
