If you live in an area with a very high level of lime in the water, you can advantageously add extra lactic acid to your wash. For example this.

The capsule contains 30 ml. Use it if necessary. as a dosage meter and throw it into the machine.

Ulrich Natürlich's detergents are also available in 5- and 10-litre cans, which save the environment from a whole lot of plastic packaging.

Liquid detergent for wool, silk and fur.

Contains 500 ml.

For organic washing of delicate textiles such as wool, silk and fur. The detergent contains lanolin, which refreshes the clothes and gives, especially woolen clothes, good water-repellent properties back.

This detergent contains detergents from coconut oil, plant soaps, lanolin and lactic acid. The lactic acid removes limescale and gives the detergent a skin-friendly pH value.

The detergent contains no colour, fragrance, preservatives, optical white or petrochemical substances. The detergent also does not contain phosphate, which is very harmful to the environment. If, like me, you live in the countryside without connection to a municipal sewage treatment plant, then phosphate-free products are a good and conscious alternative.

500 ml. delicate detergent is sufficient for approx. 25 washes. The detergent is highly concentrated, so doses approx. 20 ml. per wash in a 4.5 kg machine.

Why should you use wool dryer balls?

They can do this because the wool absorbs the moisture from the clothes and ensures that the laundry is separated in the machine.

The dryer balls thus save both the environment and your personal finances by reducing your energy consumption for drying.

The wool balls do the laundry soft and delicious and makes fabric softener completely unnecessary.

The dryer balls are produced in Nepal.

Here they are part of a social economic project where local farmers supply wool and labor for a fair wage and good working conditions.

The wool is not certified organic, as it comes from free-ranging animals.

How are dryer balls used in wool?

The dryer balls absorb moisture and distribute the clothes well in the dryer. This means that the clothes dry faster and that the machine therefore stops earlier (provided that you use a program that stops when the clothes are dry)

Be aware that the wool balls work best in a tumble dryer that is not completely full. The drying balls should have room to move in order to function optimally.

This package contains 4 wool balls. 2 of the balls are white - and are for light laundry and 2 balls are dark - you can use them for your dark clothes.

You can also just put all the balls in the dryer together:-)

The dryer balls will be damp (inside) after use, so please give them the opportunity to dry up before you pack them away.

The dryer balls can handle between 1000 and 1500 times in the tumble dryer, so they will last for many years :-)

What are soap nuts?

Soap nuts, or rather: soap berries, are a completely natural, organic and vegan detergent.

The soap nuts come from Inden, where they grow on big beautiful trees at the foot of The Himmalaya Mountains.

Washnuts are like berries with the nuts separated. So soapnuts are actually a misleading term, because only the berry is used for soap.

The soapnuts can be used for washing clothes, dishes, as shampoo, for shaving and for cleaning.

The soapnuts contain an organic substance called saponin. Saponin has an ability to dissolve and remove dirt.

Saponin is released on contact with water above 30 degrees and works like soap.

You therefore do not have to worry about whether the washing nuts release soap when the clothes are rinsed. Because the rinse water is cold and the washing nuts will therefore not release saponin into the cold water.

How are washing nuts used?

The saponin in the soap bars is released when they dissolve in water above 30 degrees.

The soap bars are placed in the supplied laundry bag and put into the drum of the washing machine.

The number of soap berries that you should use depends a little on how dirty the laundry is and how much you wash at a time.

Here you should experiment a bit.

However, it is generally recommended to use 4-5 soap berries per load. wash.

If you live in an area with hard water, add calcifier if you live in an area with hard water.

Add bleach for white laundry.

The soap carriers work at washing temperatures between 30 and 90 degrees. However, you can advantageously use a liquid detergent, extracted from soap berries, for very short washes.

Alternatively, you can soak the soap bars in warm water for a while before use.

The soap bars are very gentle and also work very well for wool and silk.

How long can the soap nuts be used?

The soap nuts can be used for approx. 5 washes - depending on the temperatures you wash at.

High temperatures will release more saponin from the soap bars than low temperatures.

When the soap bars become light and soft, they are exhausted.

Please put the used soap bars in the compost after use.

How to use your anti-limescale spray

Spray directly on the surface.

Let it work for a short time.

Rinse with clean water.

Please rub with a cloth.

Repeat severe limescale deposits.

Note! On acid-sensitive surfaces such as marble, enamel and aluminium, the product is only suitable to a certain extent. Carefully try in an inconspicuous place.

Eucalyptus oil is obtained by steam distillation of leaves and twigs from Australian eucalyptus.

This essential eucalyptus oil smells fresh and invigorating, and is often used against mild colds, for sauna gas and as a mouthwash (remember to dilute it in plenty of water)

In oil mixtures for the skin and hair, the fragrant eucalyptus oil works both soothing and calming.

This fresh eucalyptus oil is a 100% pure, essential oil.

There is 10 ml of oil in the glass.

Contains live probiotic bacteria bacillus coagulans.

Completely free of preservatives - and still shelf-stable for 3 years.

How to use your Color Wash

byoms COLOR WASH can be used for both hand washing and machine washing at different temperatures from 30 degrees.

Used as normal detergent. Note that it is super-concentrated - be careful not to overdose, it reduces the wash quality.

How to Use the Soap Flakes

• Dissolve the soap flakes in lukewarm water.
• Use 1 handful of soap flakes for 5 litres of water.

• Dissolve the soap flakes in water and use the detergent in liquid form.
• Use 45 grams of soap flakes per litre of water and use 150 ml of this mixture per machine wash.

How to use this fabric softener
Machine wash:
Add approx. 30 ml fabric softener for the washing machine fabric softener drawer.

Hand wash:
Pour 30 ml fabric softener into clean water after washing, soak the clothes for at least 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

What should you pay attention to?
This fabric softener is not suitable for natural or absorbent textiles, such as:

• Towels and tea towels
• Bedding and underwear
• Baby textiles, cloth nappies and functional sportswear

The reason is that the fabric softener reduces the absorbency and breathability of the textile, which counteracts the natural purpose of these products. For these textile types, we instead recommend our Rinse for natural fibres, which neutralizes soap residues without affecting the properties of the textile – ideal for children, allergy sufferers and delicate skin.

Can the fabric softener change its appearance?
Yes, at low temperatures, small white lumps can appear in the fabric softener – a bit like little clouds. This is because plant-based surfactants react to cold, but the product still works completely as it should. Place the bottle at room temperature and the lumps will disappear.

Ingredients (INCI):

• 5-15% cationic surfactants
• Organic lavender oil (Lavandula Hybrida)
• Linalool (naturally occurring in lavender – may cause allergic reaction)

Note: The product does not contain synthetic perfumes, oil derivatives or dyes and follows the principles of chemical minimalism.

• Machine wash (4.5 kg of clothes): 30 ml washing gel

• Hand wash: 15 ml in the washing tub

PUER - stain remover and bleach

A really effective and versatile product.

Puer is an oxygen-based bleach and stain remover - which also degreases and disinfects.

This bag contains 1 kg.

What can you use puer for?

Puer can be used for so many different things in the household.

For example, use it as:

• Bleach when you wash white - add 1-2 tbsp. together with your detergent
• Soaking very dirty clothes (white and colourfast) - 1-2 tbsp. for 10 liters of water
• Cleaning the toilet - pour puer into the toilet together with boiling water and leave to work overnight. Then scrub clean with the toilet brush
• Cleaning drains - pour 1-2 tbsp. Puer down the drain (preferably with vinegar). It dissolves greasy deposits. Leave on for at least 15 minutes

Puer or sodium percarbonate is oxygen-enriched washing soda (sodium carbonate). When activated with hot water, oxygen is released and hydrogen peroxide is formed, which has a bleaching effect. The hydrogen atmosphere also has a disinfecting effect.

Puer breaks down into water and oxygen with a lot of fizz and foam, so it is completely biodegradable.

For Puer to work properly, it must be used with water with a temperature of at least 40 degrees. The powder does not dissolve or activate in cold water.

How to use gall soap
Wet the area with the stain, apply the soap and rub it in. The rubbing should be adapted to the material - a silk blouse is less tolerant than jeans. Leave on for approx. 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly or wash the entire garment. If the stain is not completely gone, repeat the process.

NOTE: Protein-containing stains (blood, dairy products) must be pre-treated in cold water before washing. Proteins coagulate in hot water and cannot then be removed.

There is a white coating on the soap - is it spoiled?
A possible white coating on the surface of the soap is harmless - it is sodium chloride (salt).

The soap looks different than usual - is it okay?
The color and scent can be affected by the raw materials used and the maturation time. However, these differences have no effect on the functionality of the product.

Advanced care for sports textiles with probiotic technology
Sportswear is often manufactured from synthetic fibres that tend to absorb and retain oils and bacteria from the skin, resulting in a persistent sweat odour, even after washing.

byoms SPORT & ACTIVE uses a combination of plant-based surfactants and probiotic microorganisms. The probiotics continue their action during the washing process by creating a microflora that outcompetes the bacteria causing bad odours.

Simultaneously, zinc ricinoleate functions as an effective odour absorber that binds the odour-forming substances so they are rinsed out with the water.

Correct dosing and usage
Since byoms SPORT & ACTIVE is a super concentrated product, precise dosing is crucial to achieve the optimal washing result and to avoid leaving soap residues in the textiles. Overdosing does not improve wash quality but can, on the contrary, impair it.

Instructions for machine wash and hand wash
 

• Normal wash: Add 20 ml of detergent
• Heavily soiled clothes: Add 25 ml

The product is active at temperatures from 30 degrees. Washing at 60 degrees is recommended exclusively in cases of infections or if the textile's care label specifically requires it for hygienic reasons.
