This conditioner bar does not contain any organic ingredients.
It contains sulfate extracted from coconut (Sodium Coco Sulfate), which is a very mild sulfate that does not have the same drying effect on hair and scalp as the harmful SLS sulfates.

Simpelt conditioner bar 01 is a solid conditioner. It can be used in the hair after washing with the shampoo bar.
Simpelt conditioner bar 01 without fragrance is the first on the Danish market to be certified with AllergyCertified.

Conditioner belongs in the lengths, not on the scalp
It is the most common mistake with conditioner, and it is easy to see why: you wash the whole head with shampoo, so why not condition the whole head too? Because the two products have different jobs.
The scalp produces sebum of its own, and that sebum travels down the hair by itself. The ends never get much of it, because they are furthest away and oldest at the same time - a shoulder-length hair has been on your head for two to three years and has been through everything that happened in that time.
Conditioner is made to give the ends what the sebum never reaches them with. Put it on the scalp and you gain nothing, but you do get flat hair at the roots. So start at around ear level and work downwards.
What makes a conditioner a conditioner
The active ingredient is called distearoylethyl dimonium chloride, and it belongs to a group known as esterquats. It carries a positive charge, while wet, worn hair carries a negative one - and the damaged places on the hair are the most negatively charged of all.
The conditioner therefore finds its own way to where the hair needs it most, and settles there. That is the whole principle behind conditioner, and it is why you can feel the difference straight away.
Alongside it come organic shea butter, the rich part of the formula and the part that goes to the dry ends, plus low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and aloe vera.
How to use it
Squeeze the excess water out of your hair first - conditioner applied to soaking wet hair is diluted before it can do anything. Work it through from ear level down, leave it for a minute or two, and rinse. Those two minutes are not a formality; they are the time it takes for the ingredients to arrive and settle.
The scent
Rosemary, lavender and geranium with sweet orange and vetiver. It is the same scent family as in Hyaluronic Hydrating Shampoo, which is a deliberate choice on Evolve's part - use the two together and the scent builds on itself instead of clashing.
Worth knowing
- The conditioner contains six declarable fragrance allergens from the essential oils: limonene, linalool, linalyl acetate, pinene, citronellol and citral. That is one more than in the shampoo, which does not contain citral.

How to use your Meishai conditioner
Since Meishai Conditioner is particularly rich and nourishing, we recommend using a slightly smaller amount than you might be used to. The conditioner works effectively to seal, protect and soften the hair, especially after using Meishai Shampoo and Meishai Treatment.

Start by removing excess water from the hair – the hair must be damp, but not soaking wet.

A lot of water is not added that has to be transported around and there is no need for a lot of packaging either.
No boring chemicals, sulfates or silicones are added either.
And it is fragrance-free and can therefore be combined freely with shampoo bars.
The conditioner bar promotes hair health and strength at the same time as it gives shine.
How to use your conditioner bar from Mellow Mind
You can use it as a regular conditioner or let it sit longer before rinsing it out and benefit from it as a definite hair treatment.
- It is very concentrated, so no straightener is needed a lot with every hair wash.
- When you have washed your hair, run the conditioner bar over the hair and into the lengths. Avoid too much contact with the scalp. Leave it on for up to five minutes and then rinse the hair.
- When you are finished, rinse the bar clean and let it do a good job, e.g. by using one of our fine soap containers.
- This conditioner bar has an expiry date approx. one year after the production date. You will find it on the batch number on the label, where the first four digits indicate the month and year of production.
The softening ingredients in the conditioner bar are Broccoli Seed Oil, which is a natural alternative to silicone. It smoothes the outside of the hair strands and limits frizz in the hair. Cocoa Butter reduces breakage and strengthens the hair follicles and Pro-Vitamin B5 has a regenerating effect, which provides moisture and protection.
Quality is the core of Mellow Mind's production. Everything is handmade and only produced in small batches to avoid waste. Because it is handmade, there may be slight differences in shape and colour.
The packaging of the soaps is minimal, it just consists of a paper banderole made from 100% recycled fibres, it is all naturally Swan-labelled and FSC-certified.
Furthermore, it is printed locally in Kolding, where Mellow Mind belongs, and that way the transport is reduced accordingly.

Use
Shampoo:
Moisturize the hair. Run the bar around the hair until it foams. Put the bar away and massage your hair and scalp. Wash hair until all shampoo is rinsed out. Use Kystnær conditioner bar if needed. The bar should dry out between uses. Kystnær shampoo bar can be used for approx. 30-40 hair washes.
Hair treatment:
Moisten the bar and run it through wet hair in the lengths and ends. Let sit 4-5 minutes. Wash the hair until all the hair conditioner has been rinsed out. The bar must dry out between uses, please place it on a loofah sponge. Does not tolerate direct sunlight.
Soap bar:
The soap can be used on the whole body, as a body soap, but is also ideal as a hand soap. You can use the bar of soap in a linen soap bag for exfoliation that leaves the skin soft and delicious.
