Carafe in strong borosilicate glass from Danske Retap.
The carafe is beautiful in itself. In fact, it has, among other things, won the Reddot design award.
It is very suitable for serving on the table, but also fits perfectly in the fridge door if you want fridge-cold water in it.
The carafe is sold without a lid, but you can easily buy the lid just here
The lid is fixed on and protects the drinks from possible "fridge taste".

The carafe from Retap is made of up to 30% recycled glass.
It is light and easy to clean with the wide opening at the top.
The carafe can hold 1.2 liters and measures 25 cm. in height and 9.8 cm. in diameter.
It weighs 300 grams.

This decanter only has round edges. This means that bacteria cannot collect anywhere.
It is incredibly easy to clean due to the wide opening.

Rebottled carafe in clear glass
An incredible amount of glass is thrown into the glass containers every year and it is clearly better than elsewhere.
But recycling glass also costs a lot in production. In fact, up to 85% of the same amount of energy is used when producing new glass to recycle old. And at the same time, new glass must be added to the recycled before it can be used.
Dutch Rebottled has changed that. Instead of recycling the glass from old wine bottles, they upcycle it into drinking glasses and decanters. And with the most beautiful results. Because a fine story has been preserved in each individual glass and carafe and a unique expression, since it is different types of bottles that end up at Rebottled.
They cut the bottles and have them carefully sharpened and adapted so that they function as the perfect drinking glasses and carafes.
At the same time, Rebottled takes a social responsibility by helping people outside or on the edge of the labor market to get started work again.
This decanter is created from a clear wine bottle and can hold 600 ml
It measures 18 x 7.5 cm and weighs 350 g.
The decanter comes in a nice box made of recycled cardboard.
