The fact that only 12% of the ingredients in this ZAO product are organic is due to the eye shadow containing a lot of minerals. And they cannot be grown organically.
Please note that this eye shadow contains a small amount of hypoallergenic natural perfume. In this case, it's vanilla extract. The scent is added because some of the oils can otherwise give an unpleasant smell.
