Kapok, also called silk cotton, is light and breathable and transports moisture away from the body. The temperature-regulating effect makes it suitable as both a summer and winter duvet. And extra suitable for children who find it more difficult to regulate their body temperature than us adults.
This duvet is also recommended for allergy sufferers, as kapok contains an antibacterial substance that house dust mites cannot live in.
The duvet is filled with untreated organic kapok, with a spring of 100% organically certified cotton.
The duvet measures 100x140 cm.
Please note that kapok duvets can feel different than regular down duvets. It's a little heavier and maybe a little more like a cotton blanket.

This makes the goose an ideal companion for children needing relief from fever, stomach ache, or simply wanting a bit of extra warmth in the pram on cold days. The spelt hulls produce a soothing effect and make a pleasant, rustling sound when you cuddle the goose.
When the spelt hulls need warming, they are wrapped in a tea towel or towel and heated in a conventional oven for 10-15 minutes or on a warm radiator until comfortably warm to the touch.

Maintenance of your woolen duvet from Cocoon Company
A woolen duvet should not be washed. The lanolin in the wool is because the lanolin in the wool is important for the duvet's temperature-regulating function - and the lanolin is quietly washed out by the duvet when it is washed.
On the other hand, it is a super good idea to air the duvet regularly. It is good for the humidity in the duvet and for the lightness. If you can air it out in freezing weather, it is the absolute best thing you can do.
If an accident has occurred, however, we recommend that you spot wash the duvet.
Alternatively, you can of course also send it to be cleaned if a more thorough cleaning of the duvet is necessary.
The wool duvet must never be tumbled dry, but must instead be left to dry.
