When you buy this beeswax calendar candle, you make an important difference:

  • for vulnerable citizens
  • for the honey bee

In addition, pay attention to the fire authorities' instructions for burning candles:

  • Never leave a lighted candle.
  • Always place lit candles so that children and animals cannot knock them over.
  • Always supervise candles.
  • Always turn off candles when you go to bed or leave the home.
  • Candles must be placed well away from fluttering curtains.
  • Never have candles in children's rooms.
  • Cake (especially tealights) can spill out and start burning

Carbon rod - Kishu Binchotan - Medium

Kulvand

KUL-10016

Activated carbon is a form of carbon that undergoes a special activation process that makes it extremely porous. This significantly increases the surface area of ??the coal, making it very effective at absorbing various pollutants. Activated carbon can attract and bind to harmful chemicals, toxins and unwanted odors. It is widely used in water filtration systems and other healthcare products due to its ability to purify and improve water quality. Kishu Binchotan, a traditional Japanese form of activated carbon, is specially designed to purify drinking water and add beneficial minerals. This makes it a natural choice for those who want cleaner and healthier water without using disposable plastic filters.

Benefits of Kishu Binchotan activated carbon

  1. Natural choice: Kishu Binchotan is a natural, recyclable product that lasts for several months and can then be recycled into the soil.
  2. Improved water quality: In addition to filtering water, the charcoal stick adds healthy minerals, which make the water both tasty and more beneficial for health.
  3. Easy to use: Put the charcoal stick in water and after a few hours you have clean drinking water. The rod can be used again and again.
  4. Natural filtration without chemicals: The carbon rod effectively removes impurities without adding chemicals or plastic waste.

This carbon rod measures 8-10 cm and approx. 2 cm. in diameter.

This coal line cleans approx. 1 liter water of approx. 6 hours.

When you receive your charcoal stick, do the following:

  • Rinse the charcoal thoroughly in water (without soap)
  • Put the activated charcoal in a pot of cold water, heat it up and boil for ten minutes. It cleans the charcoal and activates the cleaning processes.
  • Take the charcoal out of the pot and let it cool down
  • Put the charcoal in a jug or other container and pour water over it
  • After six hours the water is cleaned and ready for use
  • Refill as much as you want
  • Boil the charcoal rod approx. 1 time per month according to the above procedure. It will reactivate the charcoal and remove the substances that the charcoal has taken up. Write it down if necessary. in your calendar so you remember it.

The coal can last for at least 90 days - and often much more. You will be able to taste when you need to replace the charcoal.

The charcoal rods may break during the cooking process. It has no effect on the effect of the charcoal.

Once your activated charcoal has served its water purification purpose, you can use it as an air purifier. It is super effective for cleaning the air indoors and ensuring good air humidity.

You can also use it to remove odors from shoes, sports bags or the fridge.

When you can't find more uses for the charcoal stick, you can simply throw it in the compost bin or in the flower bed. It is super effective as fertilizer too :-)

Compostable waste bags - 30 litres

BioBag

BIB-69031

Please note that the bags are breathable. This means that wet food waste can evaporate and thereby reduce rotting and bad odours. We therefore recommend that you use a ventilated kitchen bin for the waste bags, so that together with the bags, it can ensure that the food waste evaporates. It is therefore important to empty the bag often, so that it does not remain with wet waste for too long.

The bags do not begin to compost simply with normal storage, but will lose their elasticity over time.

Dishwashing tablets - 60 pcs

Dishwashing tablets - 60 pcs

Tierra Verde

TIV-19083

Efficient dishwashing with a clear conscience
These natural dishwashing tablets from Tierra Verde are created for you who want an efficient machine wash without putting unnecessary strain on the environment, your body or your kitchen utensils. Made with only six carefully selected plant- and mineral-based ingredients and without synthetic perfume, chlorine, enzymes or dyes, they are perfect for those of you who prioritize health and responsibility in everyday life.

What makes these dishwashing tubs special?

  • Effective at +55 °C: Contains sodium percarbonate, which is activated at higher temperatures for optimal degreasing and cleaning.
  • Gentle: Without enzymes, perfume and synthetic chemistry – and free from allergens such as GMO enzymes.
  • No individual plastic packaging: Each tablet lies loosely in the bucket to avoid unnecessary waste.
  • Vegan & biodegradable: Guaranteed without animal ingredients and with full degradability in nature.
  • Certified with Ecogarantie: One of the strictest environmental certifications in Europe.

How do they work?

The tablet is activated during the first phases of washing and removes grease, food residues and dirt effectively – thanks to natural surfactants and percarbonate. It is ideal for washing at high temperatures and longer programs, which minimizes the need for harsh chemicals and extends the life of your dishwasher.

Use

  • Put a tablet in the dishwasher soap drawer.
  • Handle only with dry hands.
  • Use together with dishwasher salt and fabric softener for optimal effect.
  • Achieve best results with programs above 55 °C.
  • With short or cold programmes, some tablets cannot be completely dissolved – here, consider switching to Tierra Verde Washing gel, which works from 40 °C.

Frequently asked questions

The tablet does not dissolve – what do I do?
Set the dishwasher to a longer program with a higher temperature. Also check that the tablet option in the machine is working correctly.

The tablet crumbles – is it still good?
Yes! Tablets affected by moisture or transport damage may bend, but this does not affect the effect. Just pour the crumbs into the soap drawer.

Why plastic bucket?
Because cardboard requires plastic wrapping of each tablet. The recycled HDPE plastic container can be used again and again – and finally sorted for recycling. A practical and truly durable solution.
