The olive oil acts as a mild and moisturizing base, while the laurel oil gives the soap its antibacterial, antiseptic and soothing properties. The soap is therefore known to be effective against skin problems such as eczema, psoriasis and acne.

- As a body cleanser: 1 spoonful of clay is mixed with 6 dl. water. Massage into your wet skin and rinse off.
- For the bath: Mix 3 spoonfuls of ghassoul powder in the bath water. Rinse off after bathing.
