Liquid detergent for washing wool - with lanolin - unscented - 1 litre
Tierra VerdeTIV-12299
Give your woolen clothes the best possible care with this gentle and conscious detergent from Tierra Verde. Based on soap nuts and added natural lanolin, it has been developed to gently clean and at the same time rebuild the wool's natural properties – without harmful additives.
When you wash wool, the wool's natural lanolin is slowly washed out. Therefore, it is important to use a detergent that not only cleans, but also adds lanolin and helps preserve the wool's heat-insulating and water-repellent properties. This is precisely what makes Tierra Verde’s liquid detergent for wool absolutely ideal.
Natural soap power from soap nuts
This detergent is based on saponin – a natural, soap-like substance extracted from soapberry (Sapindus Mukorossi). When the soap berries come into contact with hot water (above 30 °C), the saponin is released, which dissolves dirt and removes impurities, just like conventional detergents – but without chemistry.
Use
- Use 30 ml per wash (approx. 1 capful) for 4-5 kg ??of laundry
- For very dirty clothes or hard water: increase the dose to up to 60 ml or add a capful of descaler
- For white laundry, you can add a few spoonfuls of PUER bleach
- For hand washing: Use approx. 15 ml for a washing tub
- Use bile soap or a vegan stain remover block for stubborn stains
- Avoid washing below 30 °C, as otherwise the saponin will not be optimally activated
Ingredients
5-15% non-ionic surfactant of vegetable origin
5-15% soap nut extract
Lanoline
Chelating agent (EDDS)
Sodium benzoate
Denatured alcohol
Xanthan gum
Environment and ethics:
Tierra Verde’s products are developed with respect for both people and the environment. This wool wash is free of synthetic perfumes, bleaches and unnecessary additives, and the packaging is made from recycled plastic.

Organic soap berries - 1000 gr.
Cocoon CompanySOB-001000
1 kg. soap nuts from the Cocoon company.
2 small cotton bags are included that you can use as washing bags for your soap nuts.
What are soap nuts?
Soap nuts, or rather: soap berries, are a completely natural, organic and vegan detergent.
The soap nuts come from Inden, where they grow on big beautiful trees at the foot of The Himmalaya Mountains.
Washnuts are like berries with the nuts separated. So soapnuts are actually a misleading term, because only the berry is used for soap.
The soapnuts can be used for washing clothes, dishes, as shampoo, for shaving and for cleaning.
The soapnuts contain an organic substance called saponin. Saponin has an ability to dissolve and remove dirt.
The saponin is released when it comes into contact with water above 30 degrees and works like soap.
You therefore do not have to worry about whether the washing nuts release soap when the clothes are rinsed. Because the rinse water is cold and the soap nuts will therefore not release saponin into the cold water.
How are soap nuts used?
The saponin in the soap bars is released when they dissolve in water above 30 degrees.
The soap bars are placed in the included laundry bag and put into the drum of the washing machine.
The number of soap bars that you should use depends a little on how dirty the laundry is and how much you wash at a time.
Here you should try your hand a bit.
However, it is generally recommended to use 4-5 soap berries per load. wash.
If you live in an area with hard water, add calcifier if you live in an area with hard water.
Add bleach for white laundry.
The soap carriers work at washing temperatures between 30 and 90 degrees. However, you can use a liquid detergent, extracted from soap berries, for very short washes.
Alternatively, you can soak the soap bars in warm water for a while before use.
The soap bars are very gentle and also work very well for wool and silk.
How long can the soap nuts be used?
The soap nuts can be used for approx. 5 washes - depending on the temperatures you wash at.
High temperatures will release more saponin from the soap bars than low temperatures.
When the soap bars become light and soft, they are exhausted.
Please put the used soap bars in the compost after use.

Natural cleaning – a natural solution for your home
Many want to keep their home clean and fresh without using chemical-based products. With natural cleaning, you get effective cleaning agents based on ingredients that come from nature. They help you remove dirt, grease and bacteria without affecting your indoor climate.
Why choose natural cleaning agents?
Natural cleaning agents are gentle and effective, which makes them suitable for daily cleaning of the home. They typically contain plant-based ingredients such as vinegar, citric acid and soap-based solutions that dissolve dirt and leave surfaces clean and fresh.
At the same time, these products are often free of artificial perfumes and synthetic additives, making them ideal for homes with children, pets or people with sensitive skin. When you choose cleaning agents with natural ingredients, you can ensure effective cleaning without unnecessary additives.
Effective products for natural cleaning
At Økofamily you will find a wide selection of products for natural cleaning. Our range includes, among other things:
Detergents with probiotics – These products contain good bacteria that actively help to remove dirt and odors from surfaces. Probiotic cleaners leave a microbiological layer that ensures your home stays cleaner for longer.
Natural All-Purpose Cleaners – Perfect for cleaning the kitchen, bathroom and other surfaces in the home. They are created with natural ingredients such as plant-based soaps that effectively dissolve dirt.
Descalers with natural acids – Limescale can be a challenge in many homes, and natural acids such as citric acid and vinegar help dissolve limescale deposits without the use of harsh chemicals.
Dishwashing detergents without artificial additives – Effective against grease and food residues, but gentle on the hands.
How to get a clean home with natural cleaning products
To get the best out of natural cleaning, you can follow these simple tips:
Use the right products for the right tasks – Natural cleaning agents are developed for specific purposes. For example, a probiotic bathroom spray works best on ceramic tiles and fixtures, while an all-purpose cleaner can be used on most surfaces.
Dosér correct – Many natural cleaners are concentrated, meaning you only need a small amount to achieve good results.
Let the cleaner work – Give the products time to loosen dirt and lime before wiping the surfaces.
Use plastic-free cloths – Plastic-free cloths, made from natural materials, help to remove dirt and clean without leaving microplastics.
Natural cleaning in the kitchen
The kitchen is one of the most important places in the home to keep clean, as this is where we prepare food. Natural detergents are particularly good for kitchen cleaning, as they effectively remove food residues and grease without leaving harmful residues. A mixture of vinegar and water can, for example, be used to remove greasy surfaces, while baking soda can act as a mild scouring cream for pots and pans.
Natural cleaning in the bathroom
The bathroom often requires more intensive cleaning, especially when it comes to limescale and soap residue. Products with citric acid are a great solution for removing limescale deposits, while probiotic cleaners can help keep the bathroom fresh for longer by fighting bad bacteria.
A simple approach to a clean home
With natural cleaning, you get an effective and gentle solution for cleaning the whole home. At Økofamily, we have collected a selection of the best natural cleaning agents so that you can easily find products that suit your needs. Whether you're looking for a probiotic cleaning spray, a powerful limescale remover or a mild detergent, we have a product for you.
