Maintenance of Klean Kanteens Sports lid

It is important to keep the drinking spout clean.

In addition to regular cleaning, we recommend that you separate Open the sports lid occasionally and scald the parts in boiling water.

Then you are sure that there are no bacteria hiding inside the spout.

If your sports lid starts to drip more than it has been doing, then it may be because the small silicone valve at the top is loose or has fallen off. You can buy it as a spare part here

The lid fits loose and is therefore not tight enough for you to put the drinking bottle in the bag.

The lid should make a clicking sound when you put it on. Then you are sure that it is firmly attached.

This lid is made of walnut wood.
