• Boil the charcoal rod approx. 1 time per month according to the above procedure. It will reactivate the charcoal and remove the substances that the charcoal has taken up. Write it down if necessary. in your calendar so you remember it.

The coal can last for at least 90 days - and often much more. You will be able to taste when you need to replace the charcoal.

The charcoal rods may break during the cooking process. It has no effect on the effect of the charcoal.

Once your activated charcoal has served its water purification purpose, you can use it as an air purifier. It is super effective for cleaning the air indoors and ensuring good air humidity.

You can also use it to remove odors from shoes, sports bags or the fridge.

When you can't find more uses for the charcoal stick, you can simply throw it in the compost bin or in the flower bed. It is super effective as fertilizer too :-)

How to use your beeswax candle correctly and safely

• Continuously cut the wick down - this way the candle burns best and slowly, and you avoid the candle becoming sooty.
• At the same time, you must avoid drafts in the room, where the light is.
• The wick should burn up by itself, but if a small piece falls off and lands in the light, it reduces the quality of the fire.

Also, pay attention to the fire authorities' instructions for burning candles:

• Never leave a lighted candles.
• Always place lit candles so that children and animals cannot knock them over.
• Always supervise candles.
• Always turn off candles when you go to bed or leave the home.
• Calves must be placed well away from fluttering curtains.

How to use your Stasher Bag

As you have probably already discovered, Stasher Bags can be used for a great deal. Here are some tips for use in the oven, microwave, sous vide pot and freezer.

Stasher in the oven: Place your open bag on a baking tray and put it in the oven. We recommend heating at a maximum of 210 degrees. And leave the bag slightly open so that the steam can escape.Stasher in the microwave: Leave the bag open here too when you heat food in the microwave. If you are going to make popcorn, we recommend a Stasher Stand-up. It gives a little more space to pop.Stasher in Sous vide pot: Put the food in the bag and slowly lower it into the water. The heat causes the air to seep out of the bag and will create a vacuum around the food. Close the bag and make sure it is completely closed when it is in the water. Prepare as you normally would, but now completely without plastic.Stasher in the freezer: Use Stasher Bags to freeze your food. They are brilliant for leftovers from dinner or for wet food such as fruit or meat. Stasher Bags do not take up much space in the freezer and since they are transparent, they provide a good overview.

Tips for Stasher Bags

Write on your Stasher Bag with a whiteboard pen. It comes off easily in the wash

Your Stasher Bag may be discolored by certain foods (tomato and the like). A little smell can also be transferred if you have used your stasher bag for strong foods. Both parts can be remedied with a little baking soda and lemon.

If they get a little discolored over time, you can use vinegar and baking soda to remove them, and if that doesn't work, we have another tip up our sleeve as well.

If you have Stasher bags in Clear or lighter versions, the best way to remove discoloration is to actually let the sun do the work. If you leave your bags out in the sun for a few hours or 3, the UV rays will work to remove the discolouration.

Of course, that requires it to be out in the sky.

You can also remove food smells by putting your stasher bags in the oven at 175 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Make sure they cool down again before handling them.

You can also soak them in hot water with a little vinegar and salt for an hour. It can also help.

And then the best tip is probably just to use it again and again and again :-)

Cleaning your Stasher Bag

Please put your Stasher bag in the dishwasher. It can easily withstand that.

Otherwise you can clean it by hand washing.

Stasher Bags are produced in China under proper conditions.

The block weighs approx. 90 grams.

Beeswax is a fantastic ingredient in skin care products and in homemade beeswax cloths (Bee's Wraps). Use e.g. also beeswax in salves, lip balm, cream and much more.

This block of beeswax is from the Danish Green Wax pool, which ensures a clean product without pesticides. The beeswax is cleaned and filtered without any kind of chemical additives.

The beeswax can be advantageously cut into smaller pieces, or grated into shavings on a grater if you only need to use a small part of the block.

Beeswax has a melting point of approx. 63 degrees and solidifies at around 33 degrees.

The block measures 7.5 x 6.2 cm. and is approx. 2.3 cm. thick.

Wooden cooking spoon

It makes a lot of sense to use wooden kitchen utensils.

Wood does not release any harmful chemicals to your food and there is also no risk of it melting on the pan, as e.g. plastic can do when temperatures get high.

The cooking spoon has rounded and soft edges and lies really good in the hand.

And it really decorates your kitchen.

The ladle measures 30 cm. in length and 6 cm. in width at the widest point.

Maintenance of your wooden saucepan

It cannot be washed in a dishwasher or soaked. Not even if it just sits in a little bit of water.

So make sure to dry it as soon as possible.

Please give your pot of cooking oil continuously. then it stays nice and shiny and makes it more resistant to water etc.

Wood does not give off any harmful chemicals to your food and there is also no risk of it melting on the pan, as e.g. plastic can do when the temperatures get high.

The blade itself is sharpened at an angle so that the palette knife becomes sharp. This makes it easier to turn the food on the pan.

Maintenance of your wooden palette knife

The palette knife should be washed by hand.

It cannot be washed in a dishwasher or soaked. Not even if it just lies in a little bit of water.

So make sure to dry it as soon as possible.

Please give your palette knife regular cooking oil. It keeps it nicely shiny and makes it more resistant to water etc.

Silk is an extremely strong material that does not just break with use.

The silk is made from the abandoned pupa of the butterfly.

This is a refill pack - i.e. without the glass packaging, which you can buy if you already have the glass packaging.

The dental floss can easily be included in the compost and will form within 2 years.

How to use Bokashi bran in your compost bin

When you start with an empty Bokashi compost bin, you start by sprinkling a thin layer of Bokashi bran at the bottom. Then you add kitchen waste little by little. Every time you put new food scraps in the container, you again spread an even layer of bran on top and lightly press the waste down before closing the lid tightly.

The combination of bran and food scraps ensures optimal conditions for fermentation. After a few weeks, you will have a valuable pre-compost that you can mix with soil, after which it is quickly transformed into nutrient-rich soil for your plants.

One kilo of Bokashi bran is typically enough for approximately 2-3 months of normal use of the compost bin.

Storage

Bokashi bran is stored at room temperature, without exposure to direct sunlight.

When you receive your charcoal stick, do the following:

• Take the charcoal out of the pot and let it cool down
• Put the charcoal in a jug or other container and pour water over it
• After six hours the water is cleaned and ready for use
• Refill as much as you want
• Boil the charcoal rod approx. 1 time per month according to the above procedure. It will reactivate the charcoal and remove the substances that the charcoal has taken up. Write it down if necessary. in your calendar so you remember it.

The coal can last for at least 90 days - and often much more. You will be able to taste when you need to replace the charcoal.

The charcoal rods may break during the cooking process. It has no effect on the effect of the charcoal.

Once your activated charcoal has served its water purification purpose, you can use it as an air purifier. It is super effective for cleaning the air indoors and ensuring good air humidity.

You can also use it to remove odors from shoes, sports bags or the fridge.

When you can't find more uses for the charcoal stick, you can simply throw it in the compost bin or in the flower bed. It's super effective as fertilizer too :-)

How to Use a Shampoo Bar

• Brush your hair before taking a shower. This way, you remove loose hair so it does not tangle when you massage in the shampoo bar.
• Then soak your hair. Rub the bar around the scalp approximately 6-10 times. Make sure to get the back of the head and the sides. It won't lather much yet as the shampoo removes dirt and grime on the first wash.
• Massage around the scalp with your fingers - you can add a little more water if you find it difficult to get lather. You don't need to apply shampoo to the ends, as this unnecessarily wears on the hair.
• Rinse your hair well and make it soaking wet again. Massage the shampoo bar through the hair a second time. You can now go around the hair fewer times, and it will lather more and faster. Then rinse the hair thoroughly.
• If desired, distribute the conditioner bar through the hair and rinse afterwards. Optionally, let the conditioner sit for a few minutes as a hair mask before rinsing out.
