Larger and heavy packages, such as larger mattresses, mattress toppers and beds, are delivered by carrier. As a starting point, the carrier delivers the order to your address as long as the individual boxes are under 20 kg. All other shipments are delivered from the car's loading ramp as close to your door as possible, or at the nearest kerb. Delivery with a forwarder does not, as a rule, include bringing in or picking up goods. Orders sent by carrier are delivered as soon as possible, and therefore it is not possible to give a specific time for delivery. If the order is to be delivered within a specific period of time, this can be purchased in accordance with Danske Fragtmænd’s DOT (Delivery On Time) solutions.

If there is no specified place where the package can be left, there must be someone to receive the item. If the package must be left, notice must be given in advance of where the package must be left, at the customer's own risk. The shipper must have a telephone number on which he can notify when he expects to arrive at the delivery address.

Shipments with Danske Fragtmænd can be delivered to all addresses on all land-locked islands in Denmark and the majority of shipments are delivered before 14:00 on the day of delivery. Shipments to non-landed islands in Denmark will be subject to a DKK 400.00 island surcharge. Non-bridged islands include Bornholm (postcode 3700-3799), Ærø (postcode 5960-5985), Fanø (postcode 6720), Fur (postcode 7884), Samsø (postcode 8305), Anholt (postcode 8592), Læsø (postcode 9940).
