Advantages of flax

How to use a linen coffee filter
Boil the coffee filter before using it for the first time. And then boil it at regular intervals to remove accumulated coffee oils.
But otherwise, you can simply rinse the filter thoroughly after use, when it has been emptied of dirt, and then let it dry through.
The filter can also be washed in a washing machine at 60 degrees. Avoid using soap.
Do not tumble dry.
Tip: By the way, also use your coffee grounds, e.g. as fertilizer in the garden. It is fantastically suitable for e.g. Hydrangea, Azalea, Rhodendendron, Camellia, roses and similar acid soil plants.

Using your reusable coffee filter
Put your ground coffee directly into the coffee filter and use the filter as usual.
After use, you can pour the coffee grounds into the compost - or maybe use it as a scrub:-)
Rinse the coffee filter and hang to dry. Nothing else is necessary, but you can use a mild detergent if you wish.
Before the first use and then every 6 - 8 weeks, the coffee filter should be boiled for 10 minutes to remove any coffee oils.
If food gets on your coffee filter, you should also boil the filter for approx. 10 min.
