Chemex the coffee maker was invented in 1941 by Dr. Peter Schlumbohm. The coffee brewer is, among other things, exhibited at MOMA in New York because it is simply beautiful and a small work of art in itself. Chemex is a family-owned company with headquarters in Massachusetts, USA. The entire Chemex product range is based on their iconic coffee maker. The coffee maker is made of borosilicate glass, which is heat resistant and durable. The Chemex coffee maker has a wooden collar and a leather strap around and brews a soft and round pour-over coffee.
