Baby wool duvet in organic merino wool
A Cocoon Company baby duvet is as soft as they come. Filled with organic merino wool and finished with a GOTS-certified organic cotton cover.

Available in three thicknesses:

  • Light: for children who run warm at night.
  • Medium: standard weight – a true all-season duvet.
  • Heavy: extra fluffy – perfect for the pram when the weather turns colder.

Both versions work year-round thanks to wool’s temperature-regulating properties: cosy on cool nights and comfortable in warmer months.

Wool is soft and regulating by nature. Its lanolin content absorbs moisture from the body without feeling damp. Lanolin also makes the duvet naturally antibacterial and unattractive to dust mites.

Cocoon Company wool duvets are made in Europe and are mulesing-free.

A woolen duvet should not be washed. The lanolin in the wool is because the lanolin in the wool is important for the duvet's temperature-regulating function - and the lanolin is quietly washed out by the duvet when it is washed.

On the other hand, it is a super good idea to air the duvet regularly. It is good for the humidity in the duvet and for the lightness. If you can air it out in freezing weather, it is the absolute best thing you can do.

If an accident has occurred, however, we recommend that you spot wash the duvet.

Alternatively, you can of course also send it to be cleaned if a more thorough cleaning of the duvet is necessary.

Double wool duvet from Cocoon

A wool duvet from Cocoon Company is one of the softest things you can imagine.

The wool duvet is made of organic merino wool and organic GOTS certified cotton

A wool duvet is a soft and temperature-regulating choice. The wool's content of lanolin enables it to absorb moisture from the body - without the duvet becoming damp in itself.

It is also the lanolin that makes the wool duvet antibacterial and ensures that house dust mites cannot live in it.

This wool duvet is a double duvet with extra length - both in width and in length and measures 240x220 cm.

Wool duvet from Cocoon Company is produced in Europe. And the wool itself comes from organic merino sheep from South America.

South America is a super good climate for sheep. In that climate, the sheep are not affected by parasites and flies, which makes it completely unnecessary to spray them or carry out the cruel mulesing, as the sheep generally just thrive.

The summer dove in wool - 140x200 cm

Cocoon Company

WDS-140200

Luxury summer duvet in merino wool

A summer wool duvet from Cocoon Company is one of the softest and most heat-regulating things you can imagine.

Many mistakenly think that a wool duvet is far too warm for use in summer, but the opposite is true. Wool regulates instead of insulating like e.g. down duvet.

This wool duvet is specially made for summer use.

Wool duvet is made of organic merino wool and 100% organic GOTS certified cotton.

This wool summer duvet has 150 g. filling of untreated/unwashed merino wool.

The duvet has the standard dimensions 140x200 cm.

The temperature-regulating properties of the wool ensure a comfortable body temperature throughout the night - even in the hot summer months.

A wool duvet is a soft and very temperature-regulating choice. The wool still contains its natural lanolin, which enables it to absorb the moisture from the body - without the down becoming damp itself. It is also the lanolin that makes the wool duvet antibacterial and ensures that house dust mites cannot live in it.

The benefits of the Cocoon Wool Duvet

  • Temperature-regulating: The duvet keeps the body comfortably warm all night long.
  • Moisture-wicking: Merino wool absorbs up to 35% of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet.
  • Allergy-friendly: The wool's lanolin content creates a natural antibacterial environment where dust mites do not thrive.
  • 100% natural materials: No harmful chemicals.
  • Extra soft and light: Unique carding makes the duvet airy and comfortable to sleep with.

Why choose a wool duvet over down or feathers?
While down and feathers effectively retain heat, they often have problems regulating moisture and excess heat. This means that you often have to lift the duvet during the night to avoid overheating. Wool, on the other hand, has a completely unique ability to balance your body temperature by absorbing moisture when you get too hot and releasing heat when you are cold. This is why this duvet works optimally in all seasons, both hot summers and cool winters.
