Cloth pads - Panty inserts - Flower

Women's Place

WOP-94184

A woman uses around 3500–3700 disposable pads and tampons over a 10-year period. With cloth pads that have a lifespan of approximately 10 years, you can make do with only 15–20 pads in the same period - depending on use, washing and bleeding.

You also get rid of bleaches, glues and perfumes, which many find cause itching, irritation and rashes. Cloth pads offer a clean, soft and durable solution for your period.

Sizes and quantities

Cloth pads from Women's Place are available in four sizes:

  • 20 cm (panty liners)
  • 25 cm (day pads)
  • 30 cm (night pads)
  • 40 cm (postpartum pads or longer night pads)

Most women use approximately 3–6 panty liners, 9–12 day pads and 3–6 night pads during a menstrual period, depending on how often they wash. If you are unsure, you can start with our starter pack, which contains three different sizes.

Material and construction

  • 100% organic GOTS-certified cotton
  • 4 layers of absorbent cotton
  • 1 layer of PUL-coated fabric (waterproof)

This makes the pads as dense and absorbent as disposable pads, but without unnecessary chemicals.

Handling and use

  1. Direction: The front has two vertical seams; the back is marked with “Women’s Place”. Place the back side down against the briefs, fold the wings under and close with buttons at the back. The top cotton layers should face the skin, while the PUL-coated layer should face down.

  2. After use: Rinse off the worst blood in cold water under the shower if possible— it preserves the life of the bandage best. If you do not rinse immediately, you can put the bandage in a wetbag (waterproof and odorproof bag) until washing. A strong odor does not form when stored in a wetbag.

Washing cloth napkins

  1. Pre-wash (cold rinse): If you have not already rinsed the napkins one at a time, you can put them directly in the washing machine on a cold rinse program or hand wash them under the shower.

  2. Main wash (60 °C): Wash the bandages together with other household laundry at 60 °C.

    • Avoid bleaches and fabric softeners – these can damage both cotton and waterproof PUL.

  3. Drying: Hang the bandages to air dry. Do not use a tumble dryer, as the heat can destroy the waterproof coating.

  4. When the pads are completely dry, they are ready for reuse.

Fabric panty liners in organic cotton from Imse Vimse

Soft and delicious fabric panty liners in organic cotton from Sweden Imse Vimse.

There are 3 fabric panty liners in this package.

This fabric panty liner is in the color Natural and in the size mini. Use them for light bleeding or simply as panty liners.

These Imse Vimse panty liners are a slim model and therefore extra thin and comfortable - without affecting the absorbency.

They are really good for you who are active.

The fabric panty liner measures 19 x 7 cm.

A fabric panty liner is an incredibly good way to save the environment from a lot of unnecessary single-use plastic and at the same time do something good for yourself.

Because a panty liner is really, really comfortable to wear.

The fabric panty liner allows your skin to breathe and feels fresh and natural against the skin.

This fabric panty liner is made up of 4 absorbent layers of organic cotton and a layer of PUL that makes it leak proof.

The fabric panty liner has wings and closes with a press stud at the bottom of your panty. Here there are two different setting options.

The fabric panty liners are OEKO-TEX certified. It is not a 100% guarantee for a chemical-free product, so please wash them a few times before use just to be safe.
The fabric may fluff a little at first, but these are just loose fibers that disappear in the wash. However, they can be removed with a scraper if they do not.

Wash your fabric panty liners

Wash your fabric panty liners a few times before use.

When using:

Rinse or soak your fabric panty liners in cold water before washing them - possibly added a little salt.

You can also choose a cold rinse in the machine.

Then wash your fabric panty liners at 60-90 degrees in the washing machine.

Preferably avoid a tumble dryer, as it wears out the PUL layer a lot.

If you have enough cloth pads, you can possibly wash them all at the same time.

2 packs of mini, 4 packs of normal and 2 packs of night are often enough for one period.

The cloth panty liners are produced in Latvia.

They are packaged with a thin piece of recycled paper that closes around them.
