Textile colors for ironing
You can use these beautiful beeswax textile colors to draw and paint on textiles.
They must be ironed afterwards so that the colors adhere properly.
The colors are similar to regular oil chalk or beeswax crayons and are made as small pins, which are good for little hands.
The colors are clear and in this package there are 6 different colors for hours of creative play and fun. The colors measure 6.3 x 1.1 cm.
The beeswax pins have a white sheen - this is a sign that they are of good quality.
The textile colors are very suitable for cotton - but not for synthetic materials or wool.
Tips and good ideas for hours of creative fun
Functional gifts made with heart and enthusiasm are probably one of the best things you can do give away.
And won't grandma, grandmother, father or aunt be thrilled for a gift designed by junior, which can be used and bring out a smile?
- We can for example recommend these organic tote bags and bagsmade of cotton to paint on. Choose the plain ones.
- Or maybe a cosmetic purse in organic cotton for grandma. It can also be used as a pencil case, but pay attention to the length.
- A plain organic tea towel can also be a good "canvas" for a cute and functional gift.
- Organic fabric napkins can be designed with names and different images, for example, so that everyone in the family has their own napkin.
How to use textile colors from ÖkoNORM
- The fabric must be washed and dried BEFORE painting on it.
- When you have finished coloring, iron the motif to fix it.
- Place a piece of absorbent paper against the color side and iron from the back of the fabric (without steam).
- Once the paper has absorbed all the excess color, you can iron the colors onto the fabric front.
- Use baking paper for both parts.
- Once the fabric has been ironed, it must harden for 2 days so that the colors can set.
- After this, the fabric and the motif can be machine washed at 40 degrees.
