Recipe for homemade beeswax paper
Here you will find the ingredients you need and a recipe for how to make it.
You will need:
- Cotton fabric (thin and light) - cut it if necessary. with a pair of serrated scissors - this will prevent the fabric from fraying
- Beeswax - approx. 10 grams per sheet - depending on size
- 1 tsp. jojoba oil per sheet
- 1 tsp. resin
- Parchment paper

Use a brush that you will only use for this purpose or a brush that can be cleaned again.
Place your piece of fabric on a piece of parchment paper and spread the ingredients evenly on top of the fabric.
The piece of fabric should be washed (if it is new) and ironed before you use it. time.
Put the piece of fabric in the oven and bake it for approx. 10 minutes v. approx. 150 degrees.
Mix if necessary. the liquid ingredients together with your brush.
Check that the fabric is well covered with beeswax on both sides. Then pick up the beeswax paper with tongs and it will air dry in a short time.
