Aleppo soap is a unique and historic soap with roots back to ancient Syria, specifically the city of Aleppo, where it has been manufactured for more than 4000 years. What makes Aleppo soap truly special is its simple, natural ingredients and traditional manufacturing process, which has remained unchanged for centuries.

This mild, foaming soap was traditionally used in Syrian baths, originally established by the Romans, and the Crusaders brought the knowledge of its manufacture back to Europe. Here Aleppo soap became the inspiration for the famous Marseille soap. Aleppo soap's unique softening and caring properties are due to its original ingredients and traditional manufacturing method.

The manufacturing process is a slow and gentle cooking method, where the ingredients are mixed and boiled in large copper vessels. The finished soap mixture is then poured into a drying room, cut into blocks and left to air dry for 6 to 9 months. This long ripening period gives Aleppo soap its characteristic green core, surrounded by a brownish crust, as well as exceptional durability and mildness.

Aleppo soap consists mainly of two ingredients: olive oil and laurel oil. The olive oil acts as a mild and moisturizing base, while the laurel oil gives the soap its antibacterial, antiseptic and soothing properties. The soap is therefore known to be effective against skin problems such as eczema, psoriasis and acne.

Aleppo soap is known for its skin-friendly properties and is suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive skin. It is 100% natural and contains no artificial additives, parabens or perfumes.

Aleppo soap is ideal for daily use for all skin types. Use it for the face, body and intimate areas as well as for hair washing. When used for hair care, it is recommended to supplement with a natural conditioner with an acidic pH value for best results.

Savont is a German company that produces soap containers with magnets and suction cups.

The idea is really that you should not be able to see it at all once it holds the soap.
Less is more and the soap looks as if it is floating where you hang it, whether it is in the sink itself in the shower cubicle or the bathtub.

It is a brilliant solution for storing your soap, so it dries completely between uses and in that way you make it last longer and ensure that bacteria does not collect in a small lake of water after use.

And with this solution you neither need to drill in nor glue anything to your wall, it can be placed on any smooth and clean surface.

How to do it

• Clean the surface on which you want the suction cup to sit

How to use your soap bar
Use the bar daily to maintain healthy and well-hydrated skin:
 

• Lather up: Wet the bar with water and lather it between your hands or rub it directly onto wet skin.

• Cleanse: Spread the creamy foam over your body and enjoy the fresh scent.

• Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with water.

Tip 1: If you want a more exfoliating effect, you can place the bar in a linen soap bag. This provides a natural and gentle massage for the skin.

Tip 2: To make your soap bar last as long as possible, we recommend letting it dry completely between uses – preferably on a loofah soap rest. The bar should not be stored in direct sunlight.

Kystnær packs their products with care for the environment. The soap bar comes with minimal packaging in the form of a paper banderole, which can easily be recycled as paper.

A scrubbing bag from Hydrophil that together with a bar of soap scrubs the dead skin cells off the body.

The soap is put in the bag and will form a soft foam when you scrub.

Scrub the skin with circular movements.

Do not use the scrubbing bag for the skin on the face or neck. The skin is too fine for that.

When you have finished the scrubbing glove, it is important to rinse it thoroughly with water.

Afterwards it must dry up well again.

Do not use the bag to store your soap in. Sisal is a living material, so it will be attacked by bacteria if it is not allowed to dry up properly.

It is a really good idea to soak your sisal scrubbing bag in soapy water for approx. 10-15 min. every 14 days. Then it is rinsed thoroughly and hung to dry.

This gives the sisal scrubbing bag a very long shelf life.

The scrubbing bag is delivered without packaging, so please wash it in soapy water as described before use.

The bag measures 14 x 9 cm.

When your Sisal scrubbing bag can't take it anymore, you can cut it into smaller pieces and use it as a drain at the bottom of your flower pots:-) Otherwise, it can easily just get into the compost and compost from there.

How to use your Kystnær soap bar

Dissolve in lukewarm water until the water has a bright white/blue glow. Soak your wool or knitwear for about 10 minutes. Gently twist or spin the item before laying it flat to dry. It is not necessary to rinse the soap out.

The bar lasts longer if it is allowed to dry between uses.

There is also no boring chemistry added to the soap.

This soap is a cold-pressed soap bar with beige clay. This clay is rich in mineral salts that soften and cleanse the skin; therefore this type of clay has a detox effect on the skin.

The soap has a scent of geranium. Essential oil with geranium has a soothing effect on the skin and anti-inflammatory properties. The soap foams gently, and gives clean and silky skin.

Good to know about your soap bar

Use

Shampoo:
Moisturize the hair. Run the bar around the hair until it foams. Put the bar away and massage your hair and scalp. Wash hair until all shampoo is rinsed out. Use Kystnær conditioner bar if needed. The bar should dry out between uses. Kystnær shampoo bar can be used for approx. 30-40 hair washes.

Hair treatment:
Moisten the bar and run it through wet hair in the lengths and ends. Let sit 4-5 minutes. Wash the hair until all the hair conditioner has been rinsed out. The bar must dry out between uses, please place it on a loofah sponge. Does not tolerate direct sunlight.

Soap bar:
The soap can be used on the whole body, as a body soap, but is also ideal as a hand soap. You can use the soap bar in a linen soap bag for exfoliation that leaves the skin soft and delicious.

Ghassoul powder from puremetics

Ghassoul powder is actually lava clay that comes from Morocco.

The clay has been used for centuries to clean both skin and hair. And the clay is still used today.

The fine particles of the Ghassoul clay bind dirt and grease from the skin and hair.

The Ghassoul powder can be used for a little of everything, for example as:

How to use Ghassoul powder

• Mix the ghassoul powder with water and let it swell a little for approx. 10 min.
  • Measuring spoon of palm leaf is included in the package
  
  


• As a facial cleanser and mask against impurities: Mix 1/2 spoonful of clay with 2 tsp. water. Massage onto your wet skin and leave on for approx. 5 minutes Rinse thoroughly.


• As a body cleanser: 1 spoonful of clay is mixed with 6 dl. water. Massage into your wet skin and rinse off.


• For the bath: Mix 3 spoonfuls of ghassoul powder in the bath water. Rinse off after bathing.


• As a shampoo: Mix 1 spoonful of ghassoul clay with 2.5 dl. water. Massage into your wet scalp until the consistency is deliciously creamy. Rinse thoroughly and use a little hair tonic afterwards.


• As a dry shampoo: Put a little ghassoul powder in your hair (especially on the scalp where it is extra greasy) and comb the powder through the hair with a good brush

TIP: You can mix up your ghassoul clay beforehand. It simply needs to be stored in an airtight container, preferably dark and cool, and will last for approx. 10 days at room temperature.

Body Bar from LEKKER - soft and delicious body soap

With its delicious scent of forest berries (strawberries, blackcurrants, blueberries and raspberries) and creamy consistency, it has quickly become a favorite here.

A soap bar is very suitable for you with delicate skin or for children.

It adds moisture to the skin, instead of drying it out.

This bar of soap has a practical flower shape, which ensures that it stays in your hands even if it is smooth.

This body bar is 100% vegan

It does not contain SLS. On the other hand, it contains lots of moisturizing and caring oils.

We recommend that you store your body bar on a soap dish or soap dish with a drain like one of these, so that the water can drain off. This prevents the soap bar from getting soaked and it lying and soaking in bacteria-filled water. When the soap bar is dry on all sides, bacteria will not be able to grow on it and it is therefore a hygienic alternative.

The body bar weighs 65 g.

It is in cardboard packaging - i.e. completely free of plastic.

How to use your body bar from the LEKKER company:

• Start by moistening your hands or body with warm water
• Rub the bar between your hands to create foam
• Spread the foam around your hands or body. Avoid foam around the eye area
• Rinse the soap thoroughly from your body or hands again
• Dry your hands with a clean towel
• Place your used body bar on a soap rack so that excess water can drain.

The soap is organically certified, handmade, cold-pressed, contains only natural ingredients, is biodegradable, plastic-free, vegan, free of palm oil and not tested on animals - Just the way we like it best.

You can safely use the mild soap daily and for both body and face, but avoid eye contact.

The soap bar measures 9.4 x 5.2 x 2.1 cm and weighs approx. 100 g.

After use, you should store the soap bar in a soap dish or soap container, where the water can drain off and it has the opportunity to dry completely - then it will last longer.

The soaps are cold stirred - i.e. produced in a process called cold saponification - a method that people have used for thousands of years. Cold-stirred soap makes the soap soft, creamy and gentle on the skin.

All soaps from BADA are Danish-produced

The organic cold-pressed rapeseed oil is grown in Stevns and the BADA soaps are handmade in a micro soap factory in Roskilde.

Made for salt water
This soap is specially developed to foam in even the saltiest water, making it ideal for winter bathing. It contains extra coconut oil to create abundant foam in seawater, while cold-pressed hemp seed oil and rapeseed oil add moisture and care to skin that can be exposed to cold and salt. The soap's nourishing ingredients help to protect and soften the skin after an invigorating dip.

Danish ecology in every soap bar
The soap has a natural green color from the organic hemp seed oil and is handmade with ingredients from small Danish farms. With pure essential oils and cold-pressed oils from e.g. Grønninggaard on Stevns and Vildbjerg in Central Jutland, this soap is a tribute to both nature and the Danish winter bathing environment.

Handmade and organic soap bar with manuka honey
Our organic soap bar with Manuka honey is made from 100% natural ingredients. It is worth highlighting the Manuka honey, which is completely unique. This unique honey is produced by bees that harvest the nectar from the Manuka bushes. The Manuka bush is a wild-growing bush that can be found everywhere in nature in New Zealand.

However, the bush only blooms four weeks a year, which means that the supply of this unique honey is significantly limited. Manuka honey is also unique due to its high content of Methylglyoxal (MGO), which has a completely unique antibacterial effect.

The honey has a number of documented therapeutic and healing properties. These properties mean that it is used in many hospitals, also in Denmark. We are particularly happy with the antibacterial, moisturizing and soothing properties of honey, which are beneficial in our soap bar. The soap bar is handmade and contains only natural fragrance. Here, the honey also plays a role in our soap, as it helps to give a lovely sweet scent.

Our soap bar with manuka honey and lemongrass is unique, as the oil from the lemongrass herb has some unique properties that are fantastic for the skin. Lemongrass has a cleansing effect on the skin, and is therefore very effective at removing dirt and cleaning impurities. In addition, lemongrass has a pleasant scent, which gives a relaxing feeling in the body.
