Aleppo soap is a unique and historic soap with roots back to ancient Syria, specifically the city of Aleppo, where it has been manufactured for more than 4000 years. What makes Aleppo soap truly special is its simple, natural ingredients and traditional manufacturing process, which has remained unchanged for centuries.

This mild, foaming soap was traditionally used in Syrian baths, originally established by the Romans, and the Crusaders brought the knowledge of its manufacture back to Europe. Here Aleppo soap became the inspiration for the famous Marseille soap. Aleppo soap's unique softening and caring properties are due to its original ingredients and traditional manufacturing method.

The manufacturing process is a slow and gentle cooking method, where the ingredients are mixed and boiled in large copper vessels. The finished soap mixture is then poured into a drying room, cut into blocks and left to air dry for 6 to 9 months. This long ripening period gives Aleppo soap its characteristic green core, surrounded by a brownish crust, as well as exceptional durability and mildness.

Aleppo soap consists mainly of two ingredients: olive oil and laurel oil. The olive oil acts as a mild and moisturizing base, while the laurel oil gives the soap its antibacterial, antiseptic and soothing properties. The soap is therefore known to be effective against skin problems such as eczema, psoriasis and acne.

Maintenance of your natural sponge

A natural sponge is incredibly durable and can last a very long time if you take care of it.

What is lanolin?

Bubble Buddy was created by the Dutch designer Foekje Fleur, who sees plastic as a cool, necessary and modern material - if and only if you use it correctly and with care and only for necessary purposes.

Foekje Fleur takes a huge responsibility for nature and transforms waste products from nature into functional everyday objects. In particular, she recycles plastic from the discarded plastic product - i.a. bottles.

Plastic is NOT meant to end up in the oceans and nature in general - it must be recycled! For example, some beautiful soap dish with grate and grater that you can use for your organic soap bar.

Organic massage oil and body oil from Danish Isangs

How to use Isangs body oil

The oil may precipitate and we recommend that you shake it before use. The sediment means nothing in relation to effect and durability.

Use the bar daily to maintain healthy and well-hydrated skin:
 

• Lather up: Wet the bar with water and lather it between your hands or rub it directly onto wet skin.

Do you lack knowledge and inspiration for good oil mixtures and DIY body care products with natural oils?

Then we can highly recommend this wildly delicious DIY book by Vibeke Epstrup: Vegetable oils in face and body care.

A scrubbing bag from Hydrophil that together with a bar of soap scrubs the dead skin cells off the body.

The soap is put in the bag and will form a soft foam when you scrub.

Scrub the skin with circular movements.

Do not use the scrubbing bag for the skin on the face or neck. The skin is too fine for that.

When you have finished the scrubbing glove, it is important to rinse it thoroughly with water.

Afterwards it must dry up well again.

Do not use the bag to store your soap in. Sisal is a living material, so it will be attacked by bacteria if it is not allowed to dry up properly.

It is a really good idea to soak your sisal scrubbing bag in soapy water for approx. 10-15 min. every 14 days. Then it is rinsed thoroughly and hung to dry.

This gives the sisal scrubbing bag a very long shelf life.

The scrubbing bag is delivered without packaging, so please wash it in soapy water as described before use.

The bag measures 14 x 9 cm.

When your Sisal scrubbing bag can't take it anymore, you can cut it into smaller pieces and use it as a drain at the bottom of your flower pots:-) Otherwise, it can easily just get into the compost and compost from there.

Deodorant without chemistry

How to use your cream deo from the LEKKER company:

• It must be applied to clean and dry skin.
• You simply apply it with your fingers.
• The amount for each armpit corresponds to approx. to the size of a pea.
• Melt the cream with the heat of your hands, using circular motions.
• When it is melted and has a transparent, soft and delicious consistency, apply it to each armpit with a downward stroke so that it lies on the outside of the skin.
• It is important that you do NOT press against your skin when you applies.

Solid hand soap from BADA with cold-pressed rapeseed oil - good for both hands, body & face.

This variant with Pine Needle Orange and cloves has an excess of oils and leaves your skin clean and soft.

The soap is handmade of natural ingredients that add moisture to the skin and care for the skin during hand washing. The soap has a creamy and dense lather.

Pine needle oil has a relaxing and antiseptic effect.

Orange oil has a refreshing effect and stimulates the skin's blood flow.

Clove oil has an antiseptic, stimulating and anti-itch effect.

Coconut oil is antibacterial and very moisturizing.
