You can use it to fill pillows, crocheted stuffed animals or other things that you want to have polyester-free insides.

This bag with filling contains 500 gr. kapok.

It is the same kind of kapok that is used for duvets and pillows - i.e. the light part of the fibre.

So when e.g. your pillow will lose a little volume over time, you can add a little extra kapok fiber.

Cocoon recommends 1 bag for junior pillows and 2 bags for adult pillows. It is not possible to add extra filling to a baby pillow.

Lanolin forms a protective film around your skin and is therefore super suitable for homemade lip balm, salve or moisturiser.

Care instructions
First wash: To bring out the wool’s natural bloom, we recommend soaking your finished piece for at least 10 minutes in water at a maximum of 30°C. Then dry as described below.

Subsequent washes: We recommend hand washing, which is also gentle on the unique dyeing. Use only a small amount of enzyme-free wool detergent

Drying
Dry flat, e.g. on a towel, and shape your knitted/crocheted piece to the correct measurements.

Wool can stretch quite a bit during washing, but it will contract and regain the desired loft when dried flat and blocked to measurements.

Liquid detergent for wool, silk and fur.

Contains 500 ml.

For organic washing of delicate textiles such as wool, silk and fur. The detergent contains lanolin, which refreshes the clothes and gives, especially woolen clothes, good water-repellent properties back.

This detergent contains detergents from coconut oil, plant soaps, lanolin and lactic acid. The lactic acid removes limescale and gives the detergent a skin-friendly pH value.

The detergent contains no colour, fragrance, preservatives, optical white or petrochemical substances. The detergent also does not contain phosphate, which is very harmful to the environment. If, like me, you live in the countryside without connection to a municipal sewage treatment plant, then phosphate-free products are a good and conscious alternative.

500 ml. delicate detergent is sufficient for approx. 25 washes. The detergent is highly concentrated, so doses approx. 20 ml. per wash in a 4.5 kg machine.

So when e.g. your head pillow will lose a little volume over time, you can add a little extra kapok fiber.

Cocoon recommends 1 bag for junior pillows and 2 bags for adult pillows. It is not possible to add extra filling to a baby pillow.

Organic cotton yarn from Krea Deluxe

The cotton originates from South America and is grown in an ideal environment, where the warm climate, the fertile soil and natural rainfall combine to create the perfect conditions for organic cotton cultivation. The cotton is sown, grown and harvested without the use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers, and is located near mountain springs and rivers, so minimal irrigation is required. This natural cultivation and process results in longer cotton fibres, and produces an exceptionally soft yarn.

The yarn is then spun, dyed and finished at a small spinning mill in Portugal, where Krea Deluxe's unique tone-on-tone colors are carefully developed in collaboration with the local master colourist. However, Krea Deluxe's uncompromising commitment to GOTS-certified dyeing slightly limits their ability to offer a greater range of colors, as stronger and more vibrant colors require chemical agents and processes that cannot be GOTS-certified. They at Krea Deluxe have turned that to their strength, and with GOTS-certified colors have created beautiful, showered and more coordinated colors in a unique color scale.

The cotton is also 100% vegan and free of animal products.
