There are certainly a huge number of single-use coffee capsules used every day.
But fortunately, there is an alternative. These reusable coffee capsules from WayCap, which you can fill with your favourite coffee and use over and over again.
This saves both the environment from a lot of single-use packaging and your wallet from the cost of expensive capsules.
These reusable coffee capsules are compatible with Nespresso machines.
The pack contains 2 coffee capsules, 1 dispenser and a tamper, 6 extra filters and additional silicone rings.
How to Use a Reusable Coffee Capsule
- Place your reusable coffee capsule into the dispenser
- Add about a teaspoon of coffee into the capsule and press it down with the tamper
- Add about another teaspoon of coffee into the capsule and press it down with the tamper. There should be coffee up to the inner line - pressed coffee is preferable.
- Screw the lid onto the coffee capsule and place it in your machine.Note: Make sure the lid is screwed on tightly, as it might loosen in the machine. See how here.
How Strong Do You Want Your Coffee Capsule Coffee?
The strength of your coffee depends on which top you use and how tightly the coffee is pressed.
The more tightly you press your coffee, the stronger it gets.
But the strength of the coffee can also be adjusted using the different filters. They should be used based on how finely the coffee is ground.
The finer the coffee is ground, the more holes your filter should have. The filter in place is for very finely ground coffee, such as espresso.

There are 4 different filters for your reusable coffee capsule:
1 with small holes for espresso coffee
1 with 21 openings for medium to finely ground coffee beans
1 with 5 openings for medium-ground beans
1 with 3 openings for coarsely ground beans
How to Clean Your Reusable Coffee Capsule
After brewing coffee, you can empty the capsule of coffee beans using the back of a teaspoon. Place the coffee beans in your compost bin, use them as a scrub, or discard them with other waste.
Once the capsule is emptied, you can simply rinse it under the tap. You might want to use this bottle brush for the purpose.
This is sufficient for daily cleaning.
If it needs further cleaning, it can also easily be put in the dishwasher.
Why Are Extra Silicone Rings Included in the Pack?
The silicone rings on your reusable coffee capsule should not require replacement. But, given this product is designed to last forever, you'll have some extras in case you lose any over time.

Which Nespresso Machines Are Compatible with Your Reusable Coffee Capsule?
This WayCap reusable coffee capsule is compatible with the following Nespresso machines: Pixie, Inissia, Essenza (*), Essenza Mini, Lattissima, U, Citiz, Expert, Prodigio, Maestria, Creatista, and Kitchen Aid.
(*) Some of the older Essenza models might not be compatible. Contact us before purchasing.
WayCap reusable coffee capsules are made in Italy.
This was very important for us because they aren't transported far (at least compared to most other steel products produced in China).
The packaging is made from recycled cardboard.
