Do you want a mild and natural scent for your laundry, without synthetic perfume? If you use unscented detergent, you can easily add a lovely scent using natural essential oils.
Simply put 1-2 drops of fragrance oil into your detergent or directly onto your wool dryer balls before putting them in the dryer. It gives a discreet and pleasant scent to the clothes – quite simply.
What are essential oils?
Essential oils are concentrated, aromatic plant extracts that have been used for centuries for cosmetic, naturopathic and religious purposes.
Today they are still used in a wide range of products within cosmetics, perfumes, skin care, aromatherapy, food and much more.
The vegetable oils typically come from nuts and seeds, where the oil is mechanically pressed out either by cold or hot pressing.
Essential oils and allergies
All the essential oils in our range are natural, pure fragrances without chemicals. They are obtained by distilling plants and plant parts with special aromatic properties.
The oils are for example from herbs, leaves, needles, twigs, leaves, roots, nuts, seeds and bark.
However, you should not use essential oils for children or if you are pregnant or allergic.
Despite the fact that essential oils are natural oils, You may be hypersensitive to them. A bottled essential oil is highly concentrated, and you must never use the oil alone, directly on the body.
Scented oil for laundry
It is important that you dilute the essential oils in other oils, detergent or water.
It is also important to know that essential oils can be allergenic. And if you already suffer from allergies, you should therefore pay particular attention to whether you react to the individual essential oils.
