Wooden vegetable brush from Biogan.
This vegetable brush is 100% plastic-free and made entirely of natural materials. The vegetable brush's core is made of beech wood and the fibers on the brush are, at the fine end, made of leaf ribs from the agave cactus. The coarse end is a mixture of agave fibers and coarse palm fibers, which have a reddish-brown color.
The bristles are resistant to both heat, acid and base.
The vegetable brush fits very well in the hand and can therefore easily be used for all sorts of other purposes.
But it is very well suited as a vegetable brush, i.e. e.g. to remove soil from root vegetables and to scrape freshly dug potatoes.
Maintenance of your wooden vegetable brush
The vegetable brush can last a very long time if you make sure to dry it properly when it is not in use.
Put the vegetable brush in a dry place to dry when it is not in use.
If necessary, give the vegetable brush a little cooking oil occasionally. It refreshes the wood and makes it more resistant to water.
