Actually, approx. 1 billion disposable plastic straws every day worldwide. We can all do something about that, by choosing a much better alternative that you can use again and again.
Glass is a clean and chemical-free material. These straws are made of borosilicate glass, which can cope with large temperature differences and are therefore suitable for both cold and hot drinks.
A glass straw does not pick up flavor from the drinks, nor does it impart flavor to your drinks.
This straw has a diameter of 6 mm. It corresponds to the “ordinary” straws - in both diameter and length. The length of this straw is 215 mm.
The straws are available both with and without kinks - this model is also kinked.
We really want to avoid a whole lot of unnecessary packaging, so all our straws are sold individually and are only packed in a small paper bag, so that they don't get scratched during transport. This makes it cheaper for us - and thus also cheaper for you.
Maintenance of glass straws
Glass straws can simply be rinsed under running water. If there is stubborn dirt, you can advantageously buy a straw brush that can clean the inside of the straws. You can find it here.
Glass straws can also easily withstand being put in the dishwasher. You just have to make sure they are in a cutlery basket.
