The straw is made of tempered borosilicate glass, which is also used in laboratories and ovenproof dishes. This means the straw is incredibly strong and can withstand large temperature differences. You can therefore safely use it for both ice-cold lemonade and hot cocoa without worrying about the glass shattering.

Globally, approximately 1 billion plastic straws are consumed daily. That is an enormous amount of waste that we can easily avoid by choosing reusable alternatives.
