- It is actually a really good idea to make it a habit to reactivate the cushions by putting them out in the sunlight for a few hours every four weeks.
- The sun's UV rays will clean the pores in the activated charcoal and the air freshener is fully activated again and ready for use use.
The pads have a lifespan of at least 2 years and after that they are biodegradable but remember to cut off the top with the metal ring before throwing the pads into the compost. You can see the production date on the back of the box. It can, for example, be PO2010 which corresponds to 'October 2020', i.e. year first and month last. From the time of production, the shelf life is 4 years, which means that the product in the example can actually last until October 2024.
