Ghassoul powder from puremetics
Ghassoul powder is actually lava clay that comes from Morocco.
The clay has been used for centuries to clean both skin and hair. And the clay is still used today.
The fine particles of the Ghassoul clay bind dirt and grease from the skin and hair.
The Ghassoul powder can be used for a little of everything, for example as:
Face mask
Face cleanser
Body cleanser
For the tub
As a shampoo
As a dry shampoo
There are 400 gr. Ghassoul powder in this package.
How to use Ghassoul powder
- Mix the ghassoul powder with water and let it swell a little for approx. 10 min.
- Measuring spoon of palm leaf is included in the package
- As a facial cleanser and mask against impurities: Mix 1/2 spoonful of clay with 2 tsp. water. Massage onto your wet skin and leave on for approx. 5 minutes Rinse thoroughly.
- As a body cleanser: 1 spoonful of clay is mixed with 6 dl. water. Massage into your wet skin and rinse off.
- For the bath: Mix 3 spoonfuls of ghassoul powder in the bath water. Rinse off after bathing.
- As a shampoo: Mix 1 spoonful of ghassoul clay with 2.5 dl. water. Massage into your wet scalp until the consistency is deliciously creamy. Rinse thoroughly and use a little hair tonic afterwards.
- As a dry shampoo: Put a little ghassoul powder in your hair (especially on the scalp where it is extra greasy) and comb the powder through the hair with a good brush
TIP: You can mix up your ghassoul clay beforehand. It simply needs to be stored in an airtight container, preferably dark and cool, and will last for approx. 10 days at room temperature.

NOTE: Do not use metal objects to mix the clay with or to store it in, as the clay thereby loses its structure.
