The Twig is Leaf Shave's brilliant take on a classic Safety Razor.

However, The Twig only has a razor blade on one side - and is therefore a Single-Edge razor.

The razor blade is set at the perfect shaving angle for the vast majority of people.

It does it's easy to get into armpits and the like, as it doesn't take up very much.

The Twig is simple to use. You can use it all over the body and it suits both men and women.

This Leaf Shave Twig razor is in the color SILVER

It has a matte finish and can patina a little more easily than the glossy models (Chome, Mercury, Gold and Rose Gold)

How to use The Twig

Prepare your skin for shaving with hot water wash. It makes the hairs softer and easier to shave.
Use a good shaving soap. We would definitely recommend this one from Isangs with Eucalyptus
Shave with The Twig. Both skin and razor should be moist when you start.
You don't need to put extra pressure on The Twig, just let the weight of the razor do the work
Continuously rinse The Twig under warm water.
Notice if you need to shave any areas and repeat
And then you're done and freshly shaved!

Open The Twig and rinse thoroughly after each use. Use possibly an old toothbrush if there are places where dirt is stuck.

Make sure the blade is cleaned and has a chance to dry up.

Store The Twig in a dry place.

If you want your Leaf Shave razor standing free, you can buy this brilliant holder for it.

If there is limescale stuck to it at The Twig, you can soak it in 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water for approx. 10 minutes.

Scrub it if necessary. clean with an old toothbrush and a little mild dishwashing detergent

Do not leave the safety razor soaked for a long time.

Your Leaf Shave must be supplied with 1 Single-Edge razor blade. You can find the razor blades here

When you want to change the blades, you start by unscrewing the base on the shaft of The Twig. You have to screw clockwise to open it.
The screw at the bottom opens the razor blade at the top, which you can now access.
Replace the razor blade
Make sure the blade is in the right position
Be careful when handling the razor blade. It's really sharp!
Turn the base back into place - counter-clockwise. (see video further down the page)
