WITH THE DESIRE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

The idea for the Okofamily started back in 2017, when the original founder - Tine Porse - wanted to make a difference for the environment. A webshop with sustainable, environmentally friendly and organic goods for the whole family was the result of this dream and from that the Okofamily saw the light of day.

Tine's wish was that the Ecofamily should help spread awareness of the green alternatives that exist for the everyday products you already use. The goal is not to make you buy more than you usually do – but instead to make you consider a more environmentally friendly and long-lasting choice, which often ends up with you having to buy less overall.

NEW OWNERS – SAME MISSION

In 2024, the business was taken over by us - the Dahlmann family - which consists of the married couple Jane and Torben and sons Martin and Phillip. We also own and operate the company

It is a step we take for a greener everyday life and a shared greener future.

THE GREEN DNA

At the Okofamily, we pay close attention to where and how our products are manufactured. Both from a human and a material point of view. We select organic and natural products for your everyday life, which can replace many of the disposable and plastic goods you (perhaps) have been used to buying in the past.

At the same time, we also want the Okofamily to be a place where we share our knowledge and many years of experience in production and prioritizing sustainability. Therefore, we continuously publish new guides that can help you in the conversion to a greener everyday life.

We consider the environment, sustainability and health in all our choices. It is simply encoded in our DNA. Our 2 sons - Martin and Phillip – which today is a large part of our family business, is therefore also bottled up with a fundamental respect for the environment and the responsibility the climate demands that we take.

With The Økofamily, we would like to support that the new and future generations learn this important life lesson as a matter of course early in life – as it will naturally help the climate challenge in a better direction. When long-lasting and gentle products become part of everyday life at your home – they also become a more natural choice when the children become adult consumers themselves.

Remember that no one can change everything – but everyone can make a difference.
