How is the durability of organic face cream?
It is a good and relevant question, since it is often the additives that increase the durability of ordinary skin products. To ensure the durability of e.g. the organic skin cream from Bettes, small amounts of Asp bark extract are therefore added. A natural preservative that is often used to fight bacteria. By mixing aspen bark extract with the very mild preservative potassium sorbate, which works well against mold, Bettes has created a natural preservative whose shelf life meets all health professional requirements within the area. So even though the content is organic, an organic cream lasts up to 6 months after opening and two years unopened - just like regular skin creams.
Can an organic face cream be allergenic?
When you as a customer buy an organic face cream, it is good to also take into account whether the organic cream is allergenic. Because even if you are using an organic face cream, it may well contain natural ingredients that cause allergies. However, this only happens if you already have an allergy to a particular ingredient. Are you e.g. allergic to chamomile, although chamomile is a mild and healing herb which is not in itself allergenic, products containing chamomile can of course be allergenic for people with a chamomile allergy. It is therefore important that you always read the list of contents through, so that you avoid using products that can trigger your allergy.
However, the products from Bettes are made as hypoallergenic as possible. The ingredients used are all natural, just like your own skin. It will give a cleaner and more natural product at all times. As with all the webshop's products, we also use the organic skin care products that you can buy in the webshop ourselves. We have tested their effect and quality on our own skin. Several of our organic creams have a slightly thicker consistency than ordinary creams, but this simply has the effect that you do not need to use as much per time.
